FANS IN VEGAS LINED UP FOR AEW PPV ALREADY, KHAN ON DANIELSON'S FUTURE AND MORE DOUBLE OR NOTHING NOTES

By Mike Johnson on 2024-05-26 17:17:00

Fans were lining up today at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for AEW Double or Nothing two hours before the doors officially opened today.

Since we have been asked, we have not heard of anyone spotting Britt Baker in Las Vegas.

AEW President Tony Khan spoke with CBS Sports about Bryan Danielson's future with the company, noting, "I would like Bryan to stay, in a perfect world, forever here in whatever capacity he'd stay with us in  I'd hope that Bryan would finish his wrestling career here. I would do anything to make that happen. I want Bryan to stay with us wrestling as long as possible. I know that he's talked about an exit from full-time wrestling, which is what he's been doing this year whenever he's been healthy.  The only thing better than that is to have Bryan Danielson stepping up for the company, AEW, and fighting on our behalf. He's said a lot of great things about why he wants to be in this match and about why he wanted to come to AEW. I appreciate some of the complimentary things he's said about me personally, but especially I appreciate the things he's said about AEW and what we do here and why he loves AEW. I think Bryan Danielson fits on AEW like a glove. As long as he will consider wrestling with us, that door is always open. I would bend over backwards for him and do anything for Bryan Danielson."

Jeff Jarrett will be part of the AEW Double or Nothing Buy-In tonight.

Jim Ross will not be part of the PPV tonight due to his recent hospitalization.  Everyone at PWInsider.com sends JR our best.

AEW Champion Swerve Strickland, Mariah May, Kris Statlander, RJ City and Chuck Taylor were all in attendance Thursday at Harley Cameron's live performance at Gold Spike on Thursday.

Thunder Rosa and Luther were in attendance at the Nic and Ryan Nemeth Comedy Show in Vegas on Friday at the NERD Bar on Freemont Street.

Paige VanZant (who is still on the AEW roster page) fought and went to a split decision draw vs. Elle Brooke in the main event of last night’s Misfits Boxing show and is already demanding a rematch:
