I think Jade Cargill has a great look, gimmick, and is in good hands with WWE. However, I've not been impressed with her work in WWE thus far. I feel see is overhyped. Furthermore, how can you get behind a talent when WWE says she is the future, yet is still needing additional training? I know she had a brief run in AEW, but how can the fans get behind her push when she continues to be a work in progress?
It’s a personal thing I guess. I see someone who has a million dollar look that is getting better every time I see her. WWE is taking the chance to let her learn on the go and I think she is doing well so far. If you don’t, I respect that but to me, my eyes say I am seeing a star when she comes out and she doesn’t do anything in the ring to make me feel otherwise.
Regarding the awful Skye Blue incident last week, it would appear the same guys also bothered Saraya during the live Dynamite part of the taping, which she made a point of raising on camera. How was this missed backstage? Surely Saraya would have followed it up once she got back through the curtain so how was this chump allowed to stay around and be a pest to the ladies over an hour later?
I have no idea. If there was ever a “fan” that deserved to get his ass kicked, it was the shit-for-brains.
Is WWE really going to let Becky Lynch go? As much as I love Charlotte, she’s been injury prone the last couple of years - while Becky has had classics with nearly everyone she’s in the ring with, sells tons of merchandise, and is over like rover! Do you think she wants to be the highest paid woman in the industry and TKO somehow doesn’t think Lynch is worth it?
I would be shocked if they let her leave and I would be shocked if she chose to leave. They are perfect together and I think that they will keep working together.
Given the medical knowledge we have now do you think ECW would have as much mainstream success today as it had then? Also if we knew then what we know now do you think ECW would have been as successful as it was?
I think that Paul Heyman and Tod Gordon would have read the room and adjusted the product to what was socially acceptable in the time period. What a lot of people still to this day to understand about what made ECW as great as it was when it was at its best was the excellent storytelling and character development. People cared why the guys and girls were doing the crazy stuff. It wasn’t just done for the sake of doing it.
Finally why hasn't CZW had more mainstream success given its similarity to ECW and people's love for ECW? Do you think if it came along earlier it would have been as successful as ECW?
I never saw CZW as being similar to ECW. The storytelling was much different.
