Monster Factory, the excellent AppleTV+ documentary series on the Paulsboro, NJ wrestling academy, its trainer Danny Cage and its students, was nominated for a Sports Emmy Award for outstanding documentary series - serialized. The ceremony is this Tuesday.
Last year, the series won the 2023 Grierson British Documentary Award today for Best Constructed or Formatted Documentary series.
The show, which was excellent, was not picked up for a second season due to lack of viewership.
