I just came back from tonight's AEW Dynamite. Before the show went on the air, they held the following matches:
The Dark Order - Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno & John Silver defeated Ricky Gibson, Eddie Pearl and Sid Sylam.
Kris Statlander defeated Viva Van.
Darby Allin came from under the ring.
After they went off the air, The Elite went to the back, upset about having been run off by FTR, Darby and Bryan Danielson. The crowd chanted for FTR, Darby and then a Yes chant. Dax started to cut a promo but a massive Darby chant drowned it out. Dax asked everyone to give Cash a round of applause. He said he didn't want to get too deep into Cash's business, but there's not a more genuine person that he know than Cash except his own family and he never doubted Cash and he hopes no one else did either. Cash took the mic and said, "Not Guilty." The crowd then chanted, "He's not guilty." Dax said there's a lot of fake people on Twitter that make fun of him for being a mark for pro wrestling, but he's the biggest mark in the world and thanked the Everett fans for their support.
Bryan Danielson said it was great to be home. The crowd chanted "Welcome home" at Danielson. He said the fans are the reason he main evented Wrestlemania. The last show his father came to before he passed, the fans made him feel like his son was a star. When he was forced to retire, the fans cried with him and he'll always be grateful. At WrestleDream this October, the fan came and were the best he's ever seen for a technical wrestling match and it warmed his heart. He feels like he's been their Washington State guy for a long time, but when he's gone, they'll have a new Washington State guy.
The crowd chanted for Darby Allin. Allin said it's been a crazy few months. He thought the worst was when he broke his foot. Then, he got hit by a fn' bus. He said he's not 100% as he still has a bit of a limp and is wearing a nose brace, but he's going to fight in Anarchy in the Arena and will defend AEW's honor. He joked that when Dax hit a superplex, he was sitting under the ring and the beam bumped and hit him in the head and he thought he was going to be KO'd. He said, "I've got to go to the hospital or something, I'll talk to you later."
