Another long-time WWE executive is gone from the company.
Steve Rubin, who was with the company over 25 years and held the post of Senior Director, TV Event Relations, was cut from the company on Thursday.
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair responded to the firing, writing:
This Is The Worst Professional Move I’ve Ever Seen In My Entire Life To Let Go Of A Man Who Was So Generous And Good, Who Accommodated Everyone Including Me And My Family, And My World Of Friends. God Bless You Steve Rubin! I’m So Sorry! pic.twitter.com/oQIO9ZEZyP

Fightful.com were the first to report the news of Rubin's departure. Rubin had been with the company since 2001.
