Spotlight Match: Draeger vs Brother Greatness

We get a (now) rare Brother Greatness match??? Draeger tells him to get back behind the commentary table where he belongs. BG turning the other cheek but Draeger just beating on him. BG fighting back but Draeger keeps cutting him off. Draeger mocking BG’s religious gimmick and he whiffs a high jumping elbow drop. Greatness with a vertical suplex for two. When that doesn’t work, Greatness ascends to the heavens and hits a bulldog from the top for the win!

Winner: Brother Greatness

We kick it off with the Ranch. The ranch sucks. We hate the ranch. They are still the Elimination Cup tag champs. 

You suck, Zach. How could you. (It was definitely not me. Happy birthday, friend.)

Match 1: Danny Miles (w/ Steven Stetson & Hammer Tunis) vs Kuro

Kuro is one of our debuting talents on loan from the French Office. Danny trying to muscle the taller Kuro but eats a great dropkick and corner leg lariat. This is about to be fun but the ranch gets involved, trips up Kuro and Miles starts the beatdown. Kuro is taking a beating but keeps kicking out. Miles starts talking trash and of course Stetson chokes Kuro in the corner. Kuro finally coming back, huge Falcon Arrow for two! Hammer gets involved, Kuro is ready for it! Powerbomb to Miles for two. Triangle enziguri  to Stetson! Kuro comes flying…the rally is strong but Miles picks him up and hits a Worlds strongest slam for the win. F*** The Ranch. Good showing from Kuro tonight.

Winner: Danny Miles

Match 2: Celine Faery vs Allie Katch

Celine Faery, from Paris, is “the girl who never grew up”. She is tiny, for sure. Allie thinks she is adorable and wants to play with Mommy. They have a friendly hip bump and Faery goes flying. Allie sweeps her off her feet. Celine says Allie isn’t being nice and apologizes before ranaing her off then top. Great switch swinging arm drag and a running basement ddt. Allie catches her and just blasts her with a backbreaker. Faery with a boot up and Katch blasts her with one back. Jaw jacker? Allie gets mad and hip attacks to a cannonball. She really didn’t like being called not nice. Faery with a reversal to a modified Unprettier…running double knees for two! Celine laying in some forearms but she can’t hit a lariat that does anything. Allie catches a rana but Celine turns it to an octopus hold. Allie slams out of it. A piledriver puts Faery down for the three.

Winner: Allie Katch

As Katch celebrates, Lauren St. James comes through the curtain to introduce Paris Van Dale. If Allie wants to stay in the BRATZ division, Katch has to prove it…NEXT WEEK. 

Match 3: Rex Lawless (w/ RJ Rude) vs Joe Keys

Joe is here for a meat match. Will Rex bring it? Rex is gonna wrestle in his paisley vest. We get under Rex’s skin by praising Joe’s pecs. He starts bringing that power out but Keys shoulder blocks and clotheslines him right over the top. Keys is throwing everything he can and Rex is staggered. Rex COULD bowl Keys over but he’s holding back. Huuuuuge Claymore from Rex. RJ cheering on Rex. Big running boot and a fallaway slam. RJ gets a little shot in there too while Ref Bill ain’t looking. Rex suplexes Keys back into the ring…for a one count. keys with a tornado suplex wipes out RJ too! Running clothesline! He press slams Rex! Rex escapes a powerbomb and hits a huge spear! Rex is gonna rip off the vest? Nope. Boooooo. Rex hits an air raid crash for the win! 

Winner: Rex Lawless

RJ is upset and wants the mic. He’s mad that the wrestling Open officially have forced them into a Chair Are Legal match against the Love Doctors for next week…at SPRINGTACULAR!

Match 4: Channing Thomas (w/ Sidney Bakabella) vs Jake Gray 

I know I’m supposed to hate World Class but I get getting popped every time Bakabella calls Channing the “Count of Monte Fisto”. Between the Handyman and Bakabella, there are at least two tools in the ring. Channing is taking this as a joke. He’s easily swarming Gray. He takes too long and the crowd distracts him. Gray with some arm drags. Channing isn’t ready to look bad on tv and just pummels this kid. Huge press slam and Jake lands baaaad. Sidney yelling for Channing make this kid pay his dues. Benny the Basketball appears through the crowd and rips off Sidney’s wig! He’s bald?!?!? Channing is so shocked that Gray rolls him up for the three! Jermaine Marbury flies off the top with a Kobe to Channing to seal the World Class embarrassment they just suffered.

Winner: Jake Gray

Big Business time. Brad Hollister says he admits Ryan Clancy gave him a stiff challenge last week…but Bacon is still a stud and Bacon is still on top.

Match 5: TJ Crawford (w/ Brad Hollister) vs Suicide (w/ Fancy Ryan Clancy)

Legitimately, I’m curious who is under the Suicide mask tonight. This is a wild debut from a former X Division champion. Hard hitting start, Suicide is a super fast reversal machine. TJ wrapped into a swinging stretch. Drive by knee on the apron. TJ with a trip and Suicide eats buckle. Clancy and Hollister getting into each others faces on the outside. This match is a blast. Back and forth. Suicide just going for it. Blue thunder bomb for two! TJ misses the silver bullet as we hit one minute to go. Suicide palm strike! Spin cycle face buster! TJ tosses Suicide off the top and hits the silver bullet for the win with about 20 seconds left on the clock. This ruled. I will be watching this one back. 

Winner: TJ Crawford

Clancy heard what Brad said. Clancy asks if Brad is the REAL champion? The people say noooo! Clancy did pin Bacon but there was confusion so they are settling it in a rematch next week at SPRINGTACULAR. 

Match 6: Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) vs Big Shots (Pedro Dones & Dezmond Cole) (Lumberjack Match)

We are definitely stuck on the lumberjacka** side of the ring. Smokes sent out the front early and the lumberjacks have a bit of a quarrel over helping or hurting the smoke show. In the ring, Boofa is slapping the hell out of this kid. Brad with a blind tag and booming clothesline. Cole getting stomped out. Pedro tossed out leads Boofa to take some shots from the heel side. Boofa hits a big boot to Smokes but the Stetson ranch cordially helps him up. Pedro with the hot tag and has dusty punches for both his opponents. Rolling tackle wipes out swipe right. The battle hits the floor. Pedro accidentally wipes out GAL on the outside. Ricky runs for cover, chokes Pedro on the ropes and sends him to the bad part of town. Pedro just getting pummeled while the ranch jeers until Cole gets in there. Huge legdrop from two! 

Baylor sends Pedro into the stairs. Boofa with a pele to Ricky. Off the top….Ricky gets pulled to freedom. The tensions are boiling over…Swipe Right being sent back in but Boofa dives on everyone. Boofa throws in Smokes for the kill but someone pushes him off the top….NOOOOO ITS RAY JAZ! Baylor with an honestly realllllly cool flipping corkscrew elbow drop to Boofa for the win. Ray Jaz puts the icing on the cake with a jumping AA to Cole.

Winners: Swipe Right

Main Event: Ichiban (w/ Brother Greatness) vs Aigle Blanc

The Holy ONE is fighting the White Eagle IN the White Eagle??? I’ve been looking forward to this one. Blanc was described to me as French Rey Mysterio…this could be a banger. Two sequences in…it absolutely f***ing is. Blanc is fast and slick and VERY impressive in this debut against the former Open champ. Blanc leaning into bugging the crowd over stealing the number one taunt but Ichiban keeps the pace flying. Aigle tries a suicide dive but eats an enziguri at the ropes. The crowd trying to stay on Ichiban’s side but Blanc hits an impressive flying crucifix slam. Ichiban fighting back but Blanc cracks him with a hard chop down. He catches Ichiban out of the air and hits a dragon suplex! Ichiban reverses the ten punches and starts rolling. Aigle catches the Ichiban minor of the air and hits a corkscrew brain buster. Meteora to the back of the head! Jeeesus. Ichiban kicks out! Blanc reversing all of Ichiban’s big moves. Ichiban with an enziguri and Blanc hits the floor! Dive! Tornado ddt to Blanc for two! Ichiban calling for it….Blanc falls back and avoids the kill shot again. Ichiban goes for the punches, Blanc tosses him away. Ichiban gets him to the top for the ten punches but Blanc drops him face first into the post! 450 splash! Ichiban kicks out! Blanc just whipping Ichiban corner to corner. Brother Greatness at ringside trying to firing him back up. Ichiban with a lariat out of the corner. Blanc inside out! Double down! Hard chops back and forth! Ichiban with a reversal and finally hits the Ichiban Kai for the win!!! This was awesome.

Winner: Ichiban

Brother Greatness celebrates but the Ranch hits the ring to ambush them! Aigle Blanc off the top with a crossbody to the whole ranch! Triple ten punches! For the church! Blanc joins them for a triple number one finger touch to close us out. Fantastic.
