AEW RAMPAGE REPORT

It is Friday and this week’s Rampage was recorded after Dynamite is at the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston WV. The commentary team is Tony Schiavone, Chris Jericho, and Excalibur. 

Alex Reynolds vs Orange Cassidy

Cassidy just stand s in the corner when the bell rings and the members of Dark Order hug waiting for him. Cassidy then knocks John Silver off the apron and hits a spinning DDT on Reynolds. Reynolds rolls out of the ring and Cassidy leaps onto him and Silver. Cassidy throws hands on the floor and goes after both Reynolds and Silver. They return to the ring and Reynolds reverses an Orange Punch and hits an elbow on Cassidy for two. Casssidy rolls to the apron and Silver attacks him there. Reynolds rolls Cassidy back in the ring for a two count. 

Reynolds beats down Cassidy in the corner, and works him over and grabs near falls as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Cassidy has been beat down all through the commercial break. Reynolds mocks him with slaps and kicks. Cassidy starts to power up and he starts to ignore the blows before acting like he was going to put hands in his pockets and instead jays in a hard jab. He then starts the soft into brutal kicks in the corner. Cassidy goes to the top and comes down on Reynolds, and then dives on Silver. Cassidy returns to the ring and Reynolds gets a small package for two.

Reynolds hits a stuff piledriver for two. Reynolds charges into the corner, but Cassidy gets an elbow up and then goes to the top. Reynolds meets him there and Cassidy fights him off and Reynolds is head butted to the mat.  The ref is distracted by Reynolds and Silver knocks Cassidy off the top. Reynolds hits a stunner off the top for two. Cassidy is rolled to the floor and when Silver attacks, he hits stundog millionaire on Silver. Reynolds dives, but Cassoidyu dodges and he hits Silver. 

Cassidy gets an Orange Punch on the floor and rolls Reynolds into the ring. He nails Silver with an Orange Punch before getting in the ring, and then hits an Orange Punch on Reynolds for the pin and the win.

Winner: Orange Cassidy

Cassidy grabs a mic, and Renee Paquette joins him there. Before Cassidy can say anything, Trent Beretta comes to the ring, still wearing the shirt he wore when he turned on Cassidy. Chuck Taylor gets in the ring behind Cassidy and walks over to the ring ropes to confront Beretta.  Beretta backs off and then Taylor leaves the ring and walks away. 

In the back, Alex Marvez is with Anna Jay and they are interrupted by Mina Shirakawa who says that Toni Storm can kiss their asses. 

Julia Hart (TBS Champion) vs Leyla Hirsch

The House rule is that Brody King is banned from ringside.

They lock up and Hart forces them back into the corner. Hirsch reverses and releases the hold. Hirsch is able to force Hart down when they lock up again and Hart rolls out of the ring. Hirsch goes for a dive, and Hart nails her with an elbow strike. She puts the boots to Hirsch and works her over in the ropes. She beats down Hirsch in the corner. 

Hart chokes Hirsch with a boot. She goes to work on Hirsch in the corner and then is whipped across the ring. Hart goes for a head scissor takedown and Hirsch grabs and slams her. Hart rolls out of the ring and Hirsch leaps onto Hart on the floor.  Jart is holding a shoulder as she gets in the ring. The ref checks on her, and when Hirsch comes in to tie up, Hart gets a small package rollup for the pin and the win.

Winner: Julia Hart

In the back, Don Callis says he doesn’t care if his team wins, he wants them to hurt Bryan Danielson and goes over the type of pain he wants them to inflict on Bryan. 

Angelo Parker vs Zak Knight w/Saraya and Harley Cameron

Parker attacks him on the ramp, and he is shoved off, and they brawl at ringside with Parker tossed into the ringpost. Knight beats down Parker at ringside. Parker is beat up all around the announce table. Knight gets into the ring and waits for Parker to recover.

Parker is busted open and says he wants to fight. He rolls into the ring and we finally get the bell. Parker throws hands and they brawl in the corner. Knight chops him down and then keeps him down with blows and kicks. Knight just keeps beating down Parker all around the ring. Knight hits a back breaker for two as we go to picture in picture.

When we come back to full screen, Knight hits a stalling suplex and then puts him on the top turnbuckle. Parker gets a couple of blows in and he knocks Knight to the mat. Knight gets back up and Parker grabs him for a twisting brainbuster from the top. Parker hits a bulldog and then hits a flipping neck breaker followed by right hands. Parker hits a DDT and crawls to cover.

Cameron and Saraya get in the ring and the Ref tells them that they are Outta Here!

As the ref is making them go to the back, Knight gets a low blow and a power bomb for TWO only. Knight yells at Parker and then slaps him, hits a head butt and then yells at him again. Knight gets a big boot, Knight yells “I’ll take good care of Ruby!” and Parker starts throwing hands. He knocks Knight out of the ring, but Knight returns with a big clothesline for two.

Knight gets a running strike for the pin and the win.

Winner: Zak Knight

Alex Marvez is with Rocky Romero and Kyle O’Reilly and Kyle says that if Rocky wins the International title, he wants an opportunity. Rocky agrees, and this brings in the Undisputed Kingdom, and Roderick Strong says that Romero has no chance of beating him. In fact,he ttells Kyle to watch the match tomorrow night to see the beating of a life time. He then asks if Kyle wants HIS international championship. Kyle says he hasn’t asked because of their friendship, but he’d like to hold a title. Roddy sayus he respects that, and he wants Kyle to hold gold, but it will never be the International championship. 

It’s time for the main event!

Jay White w/Austin and Colton Gunn vs Matt Sydal

They jack their jaws before locking up. When they do lock up, White forces him into the corner. Sydal starts toward White, and White goes to the ropes before they lock up and White forces them to the corner. They trade chops and Sydal gets a low drop kick. Sydal target’s White’s leg with kicks. White leapfrogs the next kick and lays in chops. Sydal gets a pair of tejaris takedowns. Sydal gets a reverse headlock takedown with a leg drop.

White gets a chop to cut off Sydal and when he goes for a backdrop, Sydal reverses it and is tossed to the outside. Sydal gets a meteora from the apron. Sydal rolls White into the ring and White drops Sydal over the top rope to the floor. White gets a chop and then drops Sydal on the apron knee first as we go picture in picture.

When they return to full screen, White has Sydal in a rear chinlock. White grabs a snap mare and then holds him down again. White lays in chops, but Sydal rolls through a snap mare and hits a big kick. Both men are down and Sydal forces himself to get up. Sydal lays in kicks. Sydal hits a question mark kick for two.

Sydal goes to the top, White is up, and Sydal leaps over him. Sydal is able to counter a power bomb and turns it into a DDT of his own for two. White is almost able to escape Sydal as they jockey for position, but Sydal gets a two count. White gets a uri nage for two. White tries for a Blade Runner, but Sydal escapes into a poisonrana and goes to the top.

Sydal leaps into a Blade Runner from White and White gets the pin and the win.

Winner: Jay White

After the match, White challenges Anthony Bowens to a match on Dynamite next week.
