WWE announced the following matches for Friday Night Smackdown:
*Santos Escobar vs. LA Knight vs. Bobby Lashley.
*Rey Mysterio vs. Kevin Owens vs AJ Styles.
The winners of the Triple Threat Matches will face off on next week's Smackdown.
The final winner will be the top contender to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
The most likely time and place for that title bout would be 5/4 at Backlash: France in Paris.
