Red One, the holiday action film produced by Prime Video for a November release later this year will officially be released on a theatrical scale on the weekend of 11/15.
The announcement was made this week at Cinemacon, which is traditioanlly the largest and most important gathering of movie theater owners.
Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans star in the film, which will be directed by Jake Kasdan.
The plot - "When a villain kidnaps Santa Claus from the North Pole, an E.L.F. (Extremely Large and Formidable) operative joins forces with the world's most accomplished tracker to find him and save Christmas."
