As the world just saw, Jason Kelce, the recently retired Philadelphia Eagles star, just made a surprise appearance as part of Wrestlemania 40 Night One.
PWInsider.com is told that Kelce's team reached out to Danny Cage and The Monster Factory in nearby Paulsboro, New Jersey for Kelce to take part in some pro wrestling training and to document his journey to Mania 40. We are told that Kelce and Lane Johnson both spent several hours training in the ring and outside at the Monster Factory facility last week.
Monster Factory owner and Head Coach Danny Cage stated both took to professional wrestling very quickly and were extremely respectful towards the wrestling world and everyone at the Monster Factory. Each expressed interest in returning down the line for additional training. Cage noted that it would be amazing if they do return, but until then, The Monster Factory is bestowing honorary diplomas from the facility.
Cage noted, "Seriously, it was such a great experience for both the coaches of the Monster Factory and the graduates."
