What do you think about Ronda Rousey burying WWE in her book?

She worked there and has every right to talk about her experiences, good and bad.  She doesn't need to go back unless she wanted to, so that gives her freedom that someone who is a wrestling "lifer" that wants to always work in the business might not have.  Given she has been pretty open in the book about her concussion experiences, my guess is she will focus on family and acting going forward, and isn't looking for a WWE run down the line.  Despite it all, I bet one day WWE offers her a Hall of Fame induction, especially since all of the execs she buried are pretty much gone now.

With the success of the Iron Claw, what do you think of the potential idea of having a movie or TV series be made about the Hart Family and Stampede Wrestling?

I absolutely think you can have an incredible series.  They could mine Stu and Bret Hart's autobiographies and go through Stu's upbringing, getting into the business, meeting Helen in NY, going back to Canada, running Stampede and the ups and downs, raising the Hart children, WWF taking over, Bret, Owen, Jim Neidhart, etc. going to WWF, the rise of Bret, Bret vs. Owen and so on.  I really love the idea, even if they fictionalized it a bit the way Iron Claw did with The Von Erich family.

I just went to www.wwf.com and it says "Coming Soon" Is WWE going back to WWF???!!! That would be AWE-SOME if so!!! Eagerly looking forward to your reply.

My reply is no.

Not happening.

Ever.

No.

Does A&E own the copyrights to those WWE Biographies? That's why we haven't seen those show up on Peacock?

They don't own the rights forever, but what is most likely is that WWE licensed that content specifically for A&E to co-produce and while WWE will have it in its library, the current streaming rights are exclusive to A&E, which is not in the NBC Universal family.  They are available on A&E's YouTube channel.

I see from time to time you have quotes on the back of different wrestling books.  Do you get paid for that?  What happens if you get asked for a quote for a book you didn't like?

There is no pay involved, nor should there be.  If someone wants a quote and they ask me to do so (and I have the time to read the book), they send the book to me.  If I feel it's worthwhile for others to check out, I'll give a quote.  If I don't think the book is (and this has happened), I'll decline to give a quote.
