Salina de La Renta has been officially named the Creative Director of Major League Wrestling's Women's division, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
As we had previously reported, "Salina de la Renta has been producing pre-tapes behind the scenes and is now the primary director for the Women’s Featherweight division pre-tapes. de la Renta has been given a big influence on the women's division overall and has been working in that capacity since November of last year."
PWInsider.com has since confirmed she has been given the official job title and designation within the promotion, which would make her the first Latina woman to be booking an entire division at this level in the United States and possibly Mexico as well.
On camera, de La Renta will continue to feud on camera with Cesar Duran with the storyline being they are both lucha libre powerbrokers seeking to topple the other, which is building to the promotion's 5/11 Lucha Azteca event in Chicago at Cicero Stadium.
