AEW DYNAMITE: BIG BUSINESS REPORT

By Cory Strode on 2024-03-13 20:16:00

It is Wednesday and this week Dynamite is at the TD Garden in Boston, MA. The commentary team is Tony Schiavone, Taz, and Excalibur.

We start with Renee Paquette in the back giving a rundown of the show and a Mercedes shows up and we go to the inside of the arena.

We get the letters CEO on the big screen and it’s time for Mercedes Mone’s arrival, which was generated using an online invoice generator.

She takes her time, lettering the crowd cheer before she starts to speak. She thanks the crowd for having her back and giving her the courage to be in AEW. She says she is going to bring so much magic and so many moments together. She says wrestling saved her life and gave her a place to dream. She name checks Eddie Guererro. She says her dreams led her to lead an evolution, and to be the first African American woman to main event a PPV. She says she dropped out of school at 13 to take care of her brother and then talks about how she started in Chaotic Wrestling and says it’s time to get down to business.

She says she is in AEW because she needs to be here, and wants to be here to make the revolution global. She puts over that the main event is Riho vs Willow Nightingale. She mentions Willow and the crowd boos, and she says has unfinished business with Willow, but for now, she is All Elite.

She thanks Tony Khan and the fans and tells them to say hello to their new CEO.

Backstage, Renee is with Samoa Joe, and he expects tonight’s match feels like money, and that Wardlow is being sent forth by lesser men for crimes he did not commit.  Or, as Joe remembers they have fought before, and Joe never loses championships in the Garden.

We then get a video from the Undisputed Kingdom, and Adam Cole tells a story about Wardlow. It’s a story about how he found a group of people who all hated MJF and now he is about to take the title.

Nice video package.
