1 - Katsuya Murashima, Boltin Oleg and Tomoaki Honma vs. Toru Yano, YOSHI-HASHI and Tomohiro Ishii
Ishii forces Murashima to tap out to a Boston Crab.
2 - Ryusuke Taguchi and El Desperado vs. Francesco Akira and TJP
Catch 22 hits 2X2 on Taguchi.
TJP pins Taguchi.
3 - Yuya Uemura, Taichi and SANADA vs. Callum Newman, Great O-Khan and Jeff Cobb
Uemura pins Newman with Deadbolt Suplex.
4 - BUSHI and Yota Tsuji vs. Mikey Nicholls and Zack Sabre Jr.
ZSJ trapped BUSHI in an STF. BUSHI taps out.
5 - YOH, Togi Makabe, Shota Umino, El Phantasmo and Hikuleo vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Yujiro Takahashi, Jack Perry, Ren Narita and EVIL
SHO not dressed to wrestle comes to the ring with House of Torture.
Kanemaru hits Makabe with the Suntory Surprise. EVIL hits Everything is Evil on Makabe.
EVIL pins Makabe.
After the match, SHO tries to chase down YOH. House of Torture attacks Hikuleo's leg. Umino and ELP make the save. Hikuleo hits a Godsend on EVIL.
6 - Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito vs. Taiji Ishimori, Gabe Kidd and KENTA
Ishimori hits a low blow on Hiromu and rolls him into a Gedo Clutch.
Ishimori pins Hiromu.
Takagi and Kidd exchange heated words. They will meet tomorrow in Round 2.

7 - Tanga Loa vs. David Finlay
Tanga attacks Finlay as he comes through the entry way. Tanga threw him into the crowd, into chairs and guardrails. Tanga beat him for a good 10 minutes. Finlay hits a lariat over the top rope. Finlay takes him to the floor and throws him into the crowd and chairs. Tanga makes it back to the ring. Finlay hits a suplex and a rear naked choke and a sleeper. Tanga reverses into a back suplex. Tanga hits a suplex on the ring apron. Tanga with a body press off the top rope. Two count. Tanga botches at 619 but recovers to hit one correctly. Tanga goes for a plancha but Finlay gets the knees up. They trade strikes. Finlay hits an Irish Curse. Two count. Finlay hits a series of strikes. Tanga hits some of his own. Tanga hits a Uranage out of a slam position. He goes for Apeshit, but Finlay counters into a backslide. Two count. Tanga hits a powerbomb. Two count. Finlay blocks a Kamagoye and hits Into Oblivion. Two count. Tanga hits Apeshit. Finlay kicks out. Tanga goes for a Kamagoye, but Finlay headbutts him. Finlay with a powerbomb. Two count. Finlay hits Overkill.
Finlay pins Tanga Loa.
David Finlay moves into the quarterfinals.
8 - Hirooki Goto vs. Chase Owens
Both men are familiar with each other. This was a back and forth match. Both men trade lariats. Owens misses a C-Trigger. Goto hits an ushigaroshi. They trade strikes. Goto catches Owens in a sleeper. Goto lets go and hits a punt kick to the chest. Goto hits a GTW. Two count. Owens with a Victory Roll. Two count. Goto goes to the floor. Owens hits a dropkick through the ropes. Owens with a neckbreaker on the floor. Owens goes for a Package Piledriver on the ring apron but Goto is able to escape. Owens throws Goto into the guardrail. Owens removes the floor padding to expose the concrete. Goto reverses a Package Piledriver and Owens hits hard on the concrete.
They get to their feet. Goto misses a lariat and hits the ringpost. Goto is almost counted out. Owens hits a punt kick and a neck breaker. Two count. Owens goes to the ropes. Goto pulls him off and Owens bounces off the turnbuckle. Goto hits a Shoto off the ropes. Two count. Owens with a high kick and hits a C-Trigger. Goto blocks a Package Piledriver and hits a headbutt. Goto with a second headbutt. Goto hits a punt kick and finally a GTR.
Goto pins Owens.
Hirooki Goto moves on to the quarterfinals to face David Finlay.
