After a recap of last week's show, Dustin Starr and Terrance Ward welcomed everyone to the show.

Memphis Wrestling Internet Champion Tim Bosby vs. The Problem Child Aaron Roberts with Justin Case

Bosby, who looked like an athletic younger talent, was selling that his ribs were hurting from the start from previous attacked by Roberts.  Roberts is a bigger, huskier sized talent (think Vader) but was snatched up in a shocking German suplex at the bell before they went to commercial.  When we return, Roberts had put Bosby on the top.  He pulled Bosby off and slammed him down with a Sidewalk slam.  Roberts began stomping away at the mid-section as the fans chanted for Bosby.

Roberts stepped on Bosby and chopped away at him in the corner.  He sent the champ into the ropes and drilled him with a running smash.  He grabbed Bosby into a bearhug.  Bosby fought his way out and took down Roberts with a forearm.  Bosby went for a kip up but wasn't able to do it because of the damage he had endured.  Robers came back to nail a big lariat and a powerbomb, scoring the pinfall.

Your winner and new Memphis Wrestling Internet Champion Aaron Roberts!

The story was the injured champion tried his best and even had moments where he could have turned the tide but was too hurt to overcome Roberts' power.

Roberts nailed a Vader Bomb off the ropes after.  Justin Case (Get it?) slipped a chair in the ring, but Austin Reign, Bosby's long-time rival, came to the ring.    He took the chair from Roberts but squared off with him, instead of assisting.  Roberts and Case backed out of the ring.  The announcers said it was a sign of respect for Bosby.

Falls Count Anywhere Shelby County Street Fight: Too Kool 2  (Flex & Tim Grind) vs. The Last Savages (Gio & Draco)

The storyline is that The Last Savages hit Tim Grind with a car several months back, sparking a feud.

The fight started in the parking lot and spilled through the front door of the Wrestlecenter, then through the concession stand and VIP signing area into the arena.  Flex had been left laid out in the parking lot.  He showed up with the hood of a car.  It was placed across several chairs.  They battled with weapons.  The Savages tried to powerbomb Grind off the apron onto the car hood but Flex used nun-chucks to stop it.  Grind nailed a side slam through the car hood for the pinfall on the floor.

Your winners, Too Kool 2!

Short brawl.

Ray Collins vs Van Viciouss with Jimmy Blaylock & The Hollywood Clique

If Viciouss loses, Blaylock will lose his Memphis contract.  The storyline is that after all the chaos Blaylock has caused, Collins started a petition to get him removed that was signed by a ton of fans.  Blaylock plays the Ron Wright role from Smoky Mountain Wrestling, claiming to be wheelchair bound but interfering as a manager.  He's claimed that as a contracted manager, there's nothing anyone can do.  He warned that if anyone signed the petition, there would "hell to pay" and when Collins did it, that sparked the build to this match.

Van Viciouss was a pretty well put together arrogant heel.  Collins was the everyman babyface.  He was distracted early, which allowed Van Viciouss to maintain control.  He scored a big knee strike and measured Collins for another but instead played to the crowd.  That allowed Collins time to recover and nail a clothesline that sent  Van Viciouss to the floor.  He went for a dive but came up short and was barely caught.  It scared the hell out of me.

Van Viciouss nailed a curb stomp but Collins was able to kick out at the last second.  The fans chanted for Collins.   Van Viciouss locked on a chinlock, then drove himself down on Collins as they went to commercial.

They went to a promo from James Storm taking out a beer and promising to see everyone this Sunday 3/10 at their TV taping.

They then went to an emotional Memphis Wrestling Women's Champion Mackenzie Morgan, who was upset about Cassandra Gordon having turned on her after their match last week:

After the commercial, Collins had come back with a big clothesline for a close near fall.  They battled back and forth.  Van Viciouss ripped at Collins' eyes but missed a charge in the corner.  Collins rolled him up for a two count.  Collins was cut off and nailed with another curb stomp but still kicked out.  Van Viciouss locked in a Camel Clutch.  Collins blacked out and Van Viciouss won via submission.

Your winner, Van Viciouss, so Jimmy Blaylock remains with Memphis Wrestling.  They ripped up the petition and laid it out over Collins' body.  I can't believe they didn't shove it in his mouth like Ted DiBiase used to do with $100 dollar bills.

Superbout Battle Royal

The first competitor was Maurice "The Strong", sort of an evil circus strong man with Barnabas the Ring Master.   When they returned from commercial, Tommy Dreamer hit the ring  and began nailing people with the Singapore Cane.  GCW Champion Blake Christian was next in and hit a springboard 450 splash and then tossed Alex Cross.  Everyone battled.  Zay Washington and Christian both went to the top and nailed flying bodypresses, taking everyone down and then shook hands.

Next out was Rhino.  He immediately gored Main Event Bradley and bega dumping bodies.  Rhino and Dreamer faced off as fans chanted ECW.  Before they could lock up, they were attacked and separated.  As they got down to the final competitors, everyon went after Maurice with the idea that he was the most dangerous threat.  Rhino nailed a running shoulderblock in the corner.   He and Christian battled in the corner.  Dreamer nailed some clubberin' blows.  Rhino tossed Christian over the top but but he skinned the cat to return.  Zay and Christian were tossed.

It came down to Rhino, Dreamer and Maurice.  Dreamer grabbed the Singapore Cane.  Dreamer went to use it but Maurice snatched it and broke it in half.  Dreamer and Rhino went after him.  He attempted a double chokeslam but they stopped him and chopped away.  Maurice tossed Dreamer out and faced off with Rhino.    Rhino was tossed over.

Your winner, Maurice the Strong!

Typical battle royal but the goal was to build Maurice the Strong, which they did.

There were a lot of talents very young cutting their teeth again this week, which is what a promotion of this type should be doing.  Dustin Starr does a great job as the over the top lead announcer leading the stories and effectively telling the fans who are the babyfaces and heels and what the stories are.  There will be some who use Memphis as their first stop and for others, this will be the place where they get to live out their dreams of being in the business.  Nothing wrong with any of that.

James Storm, Lance Archer and Reality of Wrestling Champion Will Allday are slated for tomorrow's Memphis Wrestling TV Taping.   Alexander Hammerstone is set for the 3/24 taping.  Buff Bagwell will appear at the 4/21 taping.  Memphis legend King Cobra is involved with all of the events.
