1 - Boltin Oleg, YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. Jado, Hikuleo and El Phantasmo
Goto pins Jado after Bishomon hits a Shoto.
Boltin Oleg looks like a monster, and will be competing in the New Japan Cup facing Hikuleo in Round 1. He is the only Young Lion in the New Japan Cup, which says the company sees big things in Oleg.
2 - Toru Yano and Togi Makabe vs. Mikey Nicholls and Zack Sabre Jr.
Nicholls pins Makabe after a Sliding Lariat.
3 - Callum Newman, Francesco Akira and Jeff Cobb vs. Taiji Ishimori, Gabe Kidd and KENTA
Cobb pins Ishimori after a Tour of the Islands.
Newman and Kidd brawl after the match. They will meet tomorrow in Round 1.
4 - YOH, El Desperado, Tomoaki Honma and Shota Umino vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru, SHO, Ren Narita and EVIL
SHO comes to the ring with a crutch and all bandaged up. He blames Tetsuya Naito for being injured. EVIL announces that Jack Perry will take his place.
Perry comes out to his own entrance.
Narita hits Honma with his push up bar, then follows with the Double Cross.
Narita pins Honma.
After the match, House of Torture stomps on Umino who lies in the middle of the ring. Umino has a look of disappointment and frustration on his face as he leaves the ring.
Umino is still in a good position. He remains in a feud with House of Torture who keeps beating him down. Despite losing to EVIL, losing to Jack Perry and being eliminated from the New Japan Cup, Umino is still in the NEVER Openweight Title picture, if House of Torture continues to mess with him. Also, Jack Perry is getting good experience from the top heels in New Japan.
5 - BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, Yota Tsuji, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito vs. TAKA Michinoku, DOUKI, Yuya Uemura, Taichi and SANADA
Tsuji pins TAKA after a Gene Blaster.
New Japan Cup - Round 1
6 - Tomohiro Ishii vs. Chase Owens
Good match. Owens jacked Ishii's jaw with a stiff knee lift. Owens hit the Package Piledriver.
Owens pins Ishiii.
Chase Owens moves on to Round 2 to face Hirooki Goto.
7 - Tanga Loa vs. Great O-Khan
Another good match. Tanga Loa hits Ape Shit, but O-Khan kicks out. Wow! O-Khan hits a TTD. Tanga kicks out.
Tanga hits a Kamagoye.
Tanga pins O-Khan.
Tanga Loa moves on to Round 2.
8 - TJP vs. David Finlay
Francesco Akira comes to the ring with TJP.
TJP attacks Finlay. This is a continuation of their fight from The New Beginning in the cage. TJP got lots of offense on Finlay. Finlay was selling his right shoulder. Finlay with a Dominator, then an airplane spin into an Irish Curse. Two count. TJP applies an Octopus Lock. Rope break. Finlay hits Into Oblivion. TJP kicks out. Wow. Finlay hits a Spin Cycle. TJP reverses out of a power bomb and a DDT. Gedo interferes. TJP spays the red mist in Finlay's eye. TJP with the Mamba Splash. Two count. TJP applies the Pinoy Stretch. Rope break. Finlay suplexes TJP into the buckle and hits a power bomb. Two count. Finlay hits Overkill.
Finlay pins TJP.
David Finlay moves on to face Tanga Loa in Round 2.
The New Japan Cup continues tomorrow.
