Fightful.com is reporting that Sammy Guevara is currently serving an AEW suspension stemming from the match where Jeff Hardy was injured several weeks back on AEW Rampage.
Fightful's report states that when Guevara nailed Hardy with his finishing maneuver to end the match after it was paused to concern about Hardy's well being - Guevara had struck Hardy's face with his knee while executing a shooting star press - it violated the company's concussion protocols, thus Guevara is now serving a suspension.
