Season 17 Episode 4: Kings and Queens

We get a video package about the tag team matches tonight. 

Joe Alonzo vs Blake Troop w/Chris Silvio

Troop starts by picking Alonzo up by both legs and driving him to the corner. They break clean and trade waistlocks. Troop drives Alonzo into the ropes and they break again. Troop gets an arm bar takedown and then cranks the arm. Any time Alonzo is able to reverse, Troop reverses back. Alonzo goes into the ropes for a break, and then lays in a forearm as they break. Troop says he can take whatever Alonzo has and puts his hands behind his back. 

Alonzo instead goes for the eyes and then stops the ankle on the ropes. Alonzo dodges a charge in the corner and gets a dragon screw. Alonzo keeps working the leg, including wrapping Troop’s leg in the ring skirt. Alonzo goes to the top for a cross body, but Troop catches and slams him, but can’t follow up because of the knee. Troop gets a slam and hammers blows on Alonzo. Troop tries for a figure four and Alonzo is able to break free. 

Troop pulls him up for a stalling vertical suplex, but Alonzo drives them into the ropes when he lands on his feet. Alonzo goes to the top for a cross body and then hits a springboard off the ropes. Alonzo goes for a sunset flip, but Troop blocks it. Alonzo gets a kick, but on the second kid, Troop gets a roundhouse kick into a bulldog and Alonzo is knocked out.

Winner: Blake Troop

May Valentine is with Austin Idol, Zyon, and Anthony Andrews. Idol puts himself over and Andrews says he has given Idol all of the Southern Gentlemen’s secrets. 

Magic Jake Dumas vs Alex Misery

Dumas attacks Misery at the bell and works him over in the corners. Dumas hits Snake Eyes on Misery. When he whips Misery to the corner, Misery goes up and over and then gets a hurricanrana. Misery starts to go to the top and Dumas grabs a leg. Misery gets an insigiri and then gets a springboard drop-kick from the top rope for two.

Misery gets in a few blows and Dumas fights back Misery is whipped to the ropes and comes off, and then botch their way to the mat with Misery locking on a guillotine choke. Dumas powers up and drops Misery with a face buster. Dumas gets a blatant choke and the ref breaks it up. Dumas gets a suplex and covers for two. 

Dumas whips Misery across the ring into the turnbuckle hard and then puts a boot on Misery’s chest for one. Misery charges at Dumas and Dumas lifts him onto the top.  They battle on top and Misery gets a headbutt, knocking Dumas to the apron and then the floor. Misery gets onto the bar tables and gets a running senton onto Dumas on the floor.

Dumas is rolled into the ring and Misery covers for two, but Dumas gets a boot under the ropes. Misery drags him further into the ring for a two count. Misery tries for a spinning DDT, but Dumas stops him and hits a pile driver. Dumas then goes to the top for a moonsault for the pin and the win.

Winner: Magic Jake Dumas

Zyon and Anthony Andrews w/Austin Idol vs The Country Gentlemen (AJ & KC Cazana) w/Joe Cazana

AJ starts by going after Andrews and then nails him with a pair of drop-kicks. He tags in KC who continues the attack, fighting Andrews to the floor. KC and Zyon fight on the floor and then into the ring where KC gets a slam and an elbow. KC goes after Andrews who tries to get in the ring, but Zyon is able to drop KC and they work him over in their corner. 

They work over KC with quick tags. Finally, KC is able to knock Zyon to the floor and ducks a clothesline from Andrews for the hot tag and AJ cleans house. AJ has a great sequence where he gets shoulder charges into Andrews in one corner and Zyon in the other. Idol starts to get on the apron, but Joe Cazana pulls him down and Idol clocks him one. AJ checks on his dad and Andrews grabs AJ for a rollup for the pin and the win with a handful of tights.

Winners: Zyon and Anthony Andrews

Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy and Kylie Paige) NWA Women’s World Tag Team Champions vs The King Bees (Charity King and Danni Bee)

Envy and King lock up and Envy backs them into the corner. Envy misses a charge and slams into the turnbuckle and King covers for one. Bee tags in and they whips Envy across the ring. King trips her and Bee gets a knee to the side of the head for two. Paige tags in and the Bee gets a drop toe hold into a waistlock. Paige breaks free with elbows and grabs a waistlock before driving Bee into  the ropes. Paige is knocked back, but Envy grabs Bee’s head and gets a whiplash on the top rope as the ref is looking at Paige.

Paige gets a series of clubbing forearms and then slams Bee into the top turnbuckle. Envy and Paige work Bee over with quick tags. Bee is finally able to avoid a charge in the corner by Paige and hits a flying cross body. Paige gets a facebuster knee. Bee gets a clothesline and both struggle to tag, and both King and Envy are tagged in and King cleans house.

King gets a Samoan drop for two, broken up by Paige. Bee is tossed to the floor, and Paige gets a spin kick, Envy gets a shining wizard and Been breaks up the pin. Bee and Paige fight on the floor as Envy shouts at King. Paige is pulled off the apron by Bee, King gets a slam and covers for the pin and the win.

Winners and NEW NWA World Women's’ Tag Team Champions: The King Bees
