Season 17 Episode 3: You Will Know My Name
Our opening video is about the match between Thom Latimer and Bryan Idol as Latimer is climbing the ladder toward a title match.
Natalia Markova, Ruthie Jay, and Taylor Rising vs CJ, Missa Kate, and Miss Starr Whoever gets the pin or submission becomes the #1 contender
Kate and Jay shake hands, but Kate nails Jay with a brutal kick and then tags in CJ. Jay gets a northerns lights suplex for two. Starr tags in and Jay trees a suplex, but Starr blocks it and nails a series of back elbows to break the hold. Rising is tagged in and is taken to the corner for CJ to be tagged in. CJ shows some dance moves, allowing Rising to roll her up for two.
Rising gets a waistlock and CJ breaks it by running into the ropes and holding on, but Rising counters with an arm drag for one. Markova gets a blind tag and gets a leg lariat for two. Markova gets an arm drag and a knee strike, but Kate gets a knee to the back when Markvoa goes to the ropes and CJ is able to tag in Kate.
Kate trips Markova and then suplexes Markova for one. Markova then gets worked over with quick tags, but they won’t tag in CJ. As Marvkova gets to her corner and all of her team gets in the ring, CJ is tagged in and she takes a three way superkick from Markova’s team. Both CJ and Markova struggle to their corners, and Rising and Kate are tagged in, and Rising runs wild.
Starr breaks up Rising’s pin of Kate. Everyone is in the ring to hit a move on the last person in the ring. CJ gets a blind tag and goes for a pin on Rising, but the ref tells her Rising isn’t the legal woman in the ring. Markova gets a shotgun drop kick off the top and follows with beautiful destruction for the pin and the win.

Colby Corino (NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion) vs Mechawolf
Our special guest referee is Homicide
Mechawolf charges and knocks Corino out of the ring and then dives onto him. They brawl shortly and after Corino is rolled into the ring, Mecha hits a shoulder spear for two. Mecha pulls off a turnbuckle pad and they fight around the corner. They go across the ring and Mecha chops Corino down. Mecha puts Corino on top and then joins him there and they fight on the top. Corino knocks Mecha down and then hits a flipping senton. Mecha goes to the floor and Corino dives onto him.
Mecha is rolled into the ring and they fight on the apron, and Mecha snaps Corino’s arm on the top rope and then hits a stomp from the top onto Corino’s arm. Mecha hits a pop up power bomb then a running knee for two, but Homicide’s hand hits the mat for a three, but he says it was only a two.
Corino loads his elbow pad while on the mat recovering. Maecha misses a charge in the corner and Corino hits machine gun chops. Corino gets a cutter and covers for two. Corino and Homicide have words. Mecha gets a rising knee, and then holds Corino in a fireman’s carry and drops him face first onto a rising knee for two. Mecha calls for a 450 and goes to the top. Corino rolls out of the way and grabs Mecha for a Styles clash for two.
Corino pulls off the elbow pad and has his short arm clothesline blocked. Corino is able to hit three more after that, but Mecha whips him to the corner. Cornio puts on the brakes and misses a moonsault from the top. Mecha gets an insight and follows with a German Suplex and Corino follows with one of his own. Mecha gets a psycho knee and tries to follow up, but Corino leaps onto his shoulders for a poisonrana.
Both are too tired to follow up and Homicide takes off his shirt and uses it to fan both competitors. They get up and Mecha gets an insigiri. Mecha goes to the top and Corino meets him there. They fight on the top and Corino drops Mecha on the exposed turnbuckle and covers for the pin and the win.
Winner and still NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion: Colby Corino
Homicide holds the belt as he hands it to Corino, letting him know he wants a chance at the title.
Daisy Kill and Talos are with May Valentine and Daisy sings a song about how they feel they should get a tag team title match and how they will destroy the Spectaculars.
The New Spectaculars 2.0 (Rush Freeman and Slade) w/Rolando Freeman vs Daisy Kill & Talos
Talos throws Rolando at Slade and then goes to work on Rush. Ruch is worked over in the corner and Kill tags in. Kill keeps up the attack until Rush is able to get free and hit the reverse atomic drop. Slade is tagged in and he hits a back elbow and a suplex. He then drops an elbow and Kill is pulled over to his corner. Rush comes off the top onto Kill’s arm and then slams him and dances before covering for two. Kill gets a waistlock and shoves Rush into the ropes.
Kill taunts Slade into the ring and Talos works over Rush. Kill gets a big kick and then tags in Talos. Talos hits a big splash in the corners. Kill is tagged in and drops Rush with a spinning heel kick and then drags him to his corner for Talos to tag in. Kill gets a slingshot where Rush goes into the turnbuckle in slow motion and then lands on Kill’s knees. Talos gets a stomp and then slams Rush into the corner and misses the splash. Slade and Kill both tag in. Slade gets a suplex, a tag and another suplex, and Talos tags in. Slade levels Kill,
Talos comes in and Slade tries for a knee, but Talos shoves him back into the corner where Rush tags in. Talos gets a big boot on Slade and then catches Rush from a flying cross body and slams Rush. Talos calls for the chokeslam and plants him for the pin and the win.
Winners: Daisy Kill and Talos
May Valentine is with Thom Latimer and he says the only history he has with Bryan Idol is kicking his ass, and tonight he will bury him six feet deep in the ground and he will then go after the ten pounds of gold.
Thom Latimer vs Bryan Idol in a falls count anywhere match
Idol yells at Latimer and Letimer spits on him. They start throwing hands. Idol knocks Latimer out of the ring and the brawl goes to the floor. Idol has the advantage early on and gets a one count on the floor. Idol pulls out the steel stairs and runs up them and leaps into a steel chair from Latimer for two.
Latimer is whipped into the steel steps. They fight up the stairs and into the crowd. They go to a bar and fight on top of the bar. We are told that Latimer is waterboarding Idoll, but the screen has gone black until he’s done. Idol hits a back body drop from the crowd down to the ringside area and then Idol drops onto him for two.
They go back up the stairs and into the crowd. The camera has trouble following the fight and they go up another flight of stairs onto a stage. Idol gets a backslide on the stage for two and Latimer hits a clothesline for two. Latimer gets a stalling vertical suplex for two. Latimer grabs an announcer’s chair and sits and waits for Idol to get up. They fight on the stage and Idol gets a killswitch for two.
Idol gets a superkick on the edge of the stage. Latimer nails Idol with a chair and then grabs another chair. Latimer piledrives Idol onto the chair for the pin and the win.
Winner: Thom Latimer
The CW app tends to cut off the show as the credits are going, almost as if it’s cutting the announcers off mid sentence.
