WWE IN AUSTRALIA NEWS AND NOTES, INDEPENDENT EVENTS IN PERTH THIS WEEK AND MORE

WWE NXT's Matt Bloom, Ryan Katz and Steve Corino are currently over in Australia for a tryout with local talents timed for this weekend's WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth event.

The Australian Broadcast Company featured a piece on the event built around the homecoming of Rhea Ripley and Grayson Waller at this link.

Ripley spoke with FOX News as well.

For those of you attending the Chamber PPV, there are several independent shows this week:

PWA Lucha Libre is running Perth on Thursday 2/22 at the St. George Hotel.

Perth-based EPW is running an Australian SuperShow at the Willetton Stadium on Friday 2/24 with talents from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and New Zealand on the show including Robbie Eagles vs. Hayden Zenith, Mikey Nichols, Slex, Adam Brooks, Davis Storm, Damien Slater, Matt Hayter, Marcus Pitt, DELTA,  Jimmy Townsend, The Velocities,Caveman Ugg, Lena Kross and more.

WWE's local schedule in Australia this week:

THURSDAY

The WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth Superstore opens in Forrest Place in Perth, Western Australia with The Kabuki Warriors signing at 4 PM.

WWE will stream an Elimination Chamber: Perth media event with Paul Levesque, Rhea Ripley, Randy Orton, Logan Paul and Becky Lynch at 12 PM local time at the Southern Oval directly outside Optus Stadium.  That will be 11 PM Eastern here in the United States,

FRIDAY

The WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth Superstore opens in Forrest Place in Perth, Western Australia today with Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne signing at 12 PM.

The Undertaker is doing his One Man Show on Friday 2/23 in Perth at Fremantle Prison.

SATURDAY

WWE will hold the Elimination Chamber: Perth event on PPV, Peacock and the WWE Network.  It will commence at 5 AM Eastern here in the States.

The WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth Superstore opens in Forrest Place in Perth, Western Australia today with Dakota Kai signing at 11 AM.

The Undertaker is doing his One Man Show on Monday 2/26 in Melbourne, Victoria at the Palais Theater, Wednesday 2/28 in Sydney at the Darling Harbour Theatre, Thursday 2/29 in Brisbane at The Fortitude Music Hall.
