AEW issued the following last night:
Last night’s Valentine’s Day episode of TBS’ “AEW: Dynamite” beat out the NBA’s matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls, securing the #2 spot on cable with a 0.30 rating among viewers 18-49 and winning the 8-10 p.m. ET timeslot in that demographic.
The episode, live from Cedar Park, TX, featured a number of marquee matchups, including Dax Harwood vs. Jon Moxley, Adam Copeland vs. Daniel Garcia in a #1 Contender’s Match for the AEW TNT Championship, The Young Bucks taking on Top Flight, Skye Blue facing Willow Nightingale and AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy squaring off against Matt Taven in a non-title Texas Death Match.
This Friday, “AEW: Rampage” on TNT takes place at a special start time of 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT, and will feature Jeff Hardy taking on Sammy Guevara in a no-disqualification match, Queen Aminata vs. Anna Jay, Dustin Rhodes teaming up with the Von Erichs and a 12-man tag match featuring the Bang Bang Scissor Gang (The Acclaimed and Bullet Club Gold) against The Dark Order, Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh and Jay Lethal.
The NBA game referenced aired Wednesday evening on ESPN.
