WWE ANNOUNCES 'SPEED' SERIES FOR TWITTER

The WWE Speed series has found a home.

The new series will air weekly on X, formerly Twitter.

WWE dis a concept taping for the series in December 2023 in Green Bay, Wisconsin prior to a Smackdown broadcast.

The idea at the time was that the talents were competing against the clock as well as each other with a five minute time limit and a clock counting down on the screen.

NXT's Axiom vs. Cedric Alexander and Bronson Reed vs. Nathan Frazer were taped using the concept.

The idea is that the winners gain a point, the losers lose a point.  In the event of a draw, there are no points awarded.

How many points the competitors would need and what they would attain at the end of the series was not revealed in the concept taping.
