A lot of your time on Q&A has been taken up on Rock/Roman/Cody. Personally I think Rock Vs Reigns is bigger, and Cody Vs Reigns can pick up where it left off after. However....I do think the way we have got here is causing an issue. Cody on TV has stepped aside for The Rock. I get why a lot of people are upset and feel a simpler solution would have just been to have Cody avoid going on Smackdown all together and accepted the offer of going after Seth on Raw. That then leaves Reigns without an opponent and allows The Rock to come in without seemingly by passing Cody on that same segment. Do you think the way it was written could have been better and caused less damage?

The only way it could have caused less damage was if Cody didn’t win the Rumble.  Once he did, he had to choose Roman or he looks like a goof and a dope.  You may think Roman vs. Rock is bigger.  That leads me to believe you don’t watch the shows on a weekly basis.  To a lapsed or super casual fan?  Sure it’s bigger.  But to the fans that support the shows every week?  It’s slap in the face.  WWE should be rewarding the people who support them all the time, not the stragglers.

A lot of people are outraged that The Rock stole Cody’s match against Roman Reigns.  I am too.  But I am more outraged that the match will probably be horrible.  Why isn’t anyone talking about that?

You are asking the wrong person because I have been talking about it for a while now.  Even before he glommed the main event, at 51 years old, I have reminded people that the last time he wrestled a full match, at Mania 29 in 2013 against John Cena, it was a train wreck where he severely injured himself.  And he was 40 years old then.  If the match actually happens, it could end up being one of the worst Mania main events, from an in-ring perspective, ever.

What’s the deal with Tony Khan’s reaction to the Stardom guy being fired?

The easy answer is, "He's Tony Khan."  If I am guessing, he probably thinks that Rossy Ogawa was funneling Stardom wrestlers to WWE instead of AEW.  To me, that's hilarious.  If he really believes that wrestlers need to be funneled to WWE over his company, it makes me laugh out loud.  Or, he could be trying to stick up for New Japan.  Whatever the case, it came off really dopey to me.  The owner of the second largest company in the US should have bigger things to handle.

So per recent report can The Rock just stroll into a creative meeting, rip up the script for any of the shows and take over and overrule Triple H? Just like Vince did but with Vince he was majority owner and had all the voting power. Rock doesn't have that authority does he? I thought the only people that could overrule Triple H is Ari and Nick Khan? The possibility of Triple H being overruled by Brian Gewirtz is laughable just because he represents Rock.

First off, Gewirtz can't overrule HHH, at least not at this point.  If we ever get to the point where Gerwirtz is in charged of creative it may be time for me to retire.  But, Rock can lobby Nick Khan, Mark Shapiro and/or Ari Emanuel and get what he wants.  Sad, but true.

John Cena and Dwayne Johnson.  Compare the two.

John Cena: He comes back, says he doesn’t deserve a title shot because he hasn’t earned it.  He says he will retire before 50 because it’s a young man’s game.

Dwayne Johnson: The exact opposite of that.
