ACTION Wrestling “We Meet Again”

1/19/24 - Fayetteville, GA

Now Available on IWTV.live

We look to be going to our first match but The Good Hand make their presence felt immediately. ACTION Champion Alex Kane leads tag champs Suge D and Kevin Ryan to the ring. Dylan Hales is so excited that the show is already being held hostage….and Kane doesn’t even have a match tonight. Suge demands the crowd show them some love….but you know that isn’t happening. Manders’s music interrupts the Good Hand’s championship celebration. The cowboy has a match tonight and not with any of them, dammit. Manders shares some glances with all three but they all back off.

Match 1: Brayden Toon vs 1 Called Manders

Manders easily takes the wrist and Toon is just yelling for mercy as he gets to the rope. Toon with a dropkick sends Manders back and a springboard kick to the head sends him to the floor. The cowboy is playing possum and decks Toon as he tries to fly out. This is turning into a bit of a hoss match as Manders just starts chopping Toon up. Manders dares him to return fire. Toon is landing some good ones in return but this is Manders type of fight. Good back and forth from here. Toon gets an opening and hits a moonsault to the floor! Swanton bomb for two! Toon heads back up…Manders with the dodge and blasts the big cowboy lariat for the win! Good crowd pleaser to kick this one off!

WInner: Manders

Before he goes….Manders makes a point to call out Alex Kane for a shot at the ACTION Championship.

Match 2: Rico González vs Moses

This crowd loves Rico…but I’ve seen what Moses can do. I have a thought about what Gonzalez is in for. And he is….Moses is just overpowering right from the start. Rico wants and arm drag…Moses throws him across the ring. Rico lands some dropkicks but they only momentarily stun Moses. Rico with a springboard and Moses headbutts him to the floor. Harrrrrd chops are Moses walks Rico down. ACTION has been missing this type of true bully bruiser since Brett Ison left. Huge suplex and a one foot cover. It’s not enough but it shows the level of dominance Moses has right now. Corner to corner, huge clothesline for two. Rico wants more? Moses has a bear hug for him. Rico bites his way free! Step up enziguri! Moses tripped to the floor. He eats the post trying to lawn dart Rico. Sweep the leg, flying stomp! Rico with a round the world drive by boot! And again! And again! Rico flies off the top but Moses catches him. He goes for a delay vertical but Rico reverses it! Moses doesn’t even stay down for one. Moses catches him again, huge uranage and a splash for two! Sitout powerbomb! Two point nine! Moses is protesting the count. It was VERY close. Rico tries a rollup…not quite. Moses is stunned after hitting the buckles….Rico with a slingshot dropkick drops the big man. It’s enough to put the lights out for three second and Moses doesn’t quite know what happened as the bell rings.

Winner: Rico Gonzalez

Match 3: Alexander Lev vs Big Dave

Lev introduces himself on the mic and endears himself to this brewery crowd by being a sober s***head. He taunts the crowd with his non-alcohol beverage and they hate him. Luckily, Big Dave is there to murderize him. Lev keeps running from the ring as Dave comes in until he can get a few stomps in. Was it worth annoying the biggest man alive? Dave is hurting after a series of chops and whips. Dave finally feeling it and starting hulking up. Lev eats a huge boot. Walking elbow drop for two! Lev rakes the eyes. Cutter for two. Lev needs a beverage but he accidentally drinks beer! He’s drunk already??? He can’t throw punches! He ducks a lariat….or maybe stumbles away from it but Dave catches him with a belly to belly slam for the win! Big Dave shares a beer with the crowd. That was a true championship caliber chug.

Winner: Big Dave

Match 4: The Good Hand (Suge D & Kevin Ryan w/ Alex Kane)(c) vs Jaden Newman & Matt Sells (for the Action Tag Team Championships)

Time for some good grudge matching. Newman and Sells are definitely an odd couple to have as challengers. But they do both HATE Suge D.Kevin Ryan takes the brunt of their initial beatdown. He doesn’t seem like much of a champion at the start here. This is entirely a one-sided affair but you start to see the cracks showing between Newman and Sells. Suge with the blindside on Newman and he starts to get some measure of revenge after Newman tapped him out a week prior in a barbed wire match. The Good Hand using their numbers advantage to keep Newman down. Sells finally gets his hands on Suge. Short ddt spikes Suge to the mat. Jumping stunner for two! Newman and Sells trying to finish this off but Ryan pulls Jaden into a fight on the floor. Sells hits the palm strike and goes for the stunner again but the ref is distracted and Alex Kane blasts Sells in the head with a title belt. Suge gets the pin and The Good Hand still are champions.

Winners: The Good Hand

Jaden and Kane go head to head for a moment. He grabs a chair and drives the Good Hand off before they swarm Sells. Jaden may not be getting a piece of Kane tonight but he wants it.

Match 5: Wheezy T vs Jamesen Shook vs Kasey Owens vs Cody Fluffman vs Rob Killjoy vs Kody Manhorn

This is primed to be goofy as this starts in a six way dance off, despite the announcement that the winner of this will be getting a shot at Alex Kane at the next show. Kasey Owens doesn’t wanna dance and that finally turns this into an actual match. Cody Fluffman is showing why the ACTION faithful have been loving the big marshmallow man. Manhorn is still a pretty big favorite here, hoping to ride the train of some recent wins to the ACTION championship. Everyone hitting the floor. Shook with a great Fosbury flop but Fluffman is looking to join him. NO ONE WANTS FLUFFMAN TO FLY. Killjoy tries to sneak the rollup but it’s not quite right. Killjoy hits a moonsault to the floor and NOW it’s Fluffman turn to take air! Very hot action from this point as everyone takes a turn showing fire. Fluffman finally left alone with Wheezy T and he hits a sitout bomb for the win!!!!

WInner: Cody Fluffman

Of course, the Good Hand hits the ring so Alex Kane can stare down and let Suge D run down his newest challenger. Suge offers his congrats to Fluffman and welcomes him to the title picture by letting Kane and Ryan beat him down. Manders makes the save and is brawling with Kane. Kane goes low and sets up a belt shot but Fluffman stops that! Double dusty punches for Kane….Good Hand pulls him out before they can finish. Kane will see Cody Fluffman in a week.

Adam Priest is out here for his IWTV title shot. He’s still a little miffed that he lost his ACTION championship to Alex Kane under unfair circumstances. It’s true. He’s prepared to cost Krule his title, just like what happened to him. Priest refuses to be screwed again and says this title match will be no-DQ and Anything Goes. But first, Adam Priest has to say he’s upset at the retirement of the Alabama football coach, Nick Saban. Hell froze over, he says. Priest wants to lead everyone in a prayer to his lord and savior, Nick Saban. This is not QUITE the place for that? What on earth is happening. Priest might be sobbing for his hero. He wants a ten-bell salute for Nick Saban. Is Nick Saban THERE??? He wants the crowd to be quiet for this. The crowd is ready for Krule to take his head off.

Krule(c) vs Adam Priest (for the IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship)

Did Priest just wear himself out by praying? Krule is just battering the former ACTION champion around the ringside area. And then they go right out the door and fighting in the parking lot. Priest using a metal dining chair on the monster but it barely fazes him. They fight back into the room as Krule beats Priest’s chest with huge clubs. Priest finally taking shots at the knee and wraps Krule in a figure four. Man...I just don’t see Krule submitting? It’s not enough so it’s time to grab some doors. Krule walks through a hard door shot and just spears Priest into a door. Priest comes with another shot and hits a choke breaker….but that knee is not holding up. Priest drops Krule and hits a top rope splash for a close two! Adam has his target still. He sets up a door on chairs. He wants that short ddt…Krule fighting it off. Huge toss through the door! Krule hits Scorched Earth and puts his former friend down for the three. This was some good chaos.

WInner: Krule
