AEW DYNAMITE REPORT

It's Wednesday!  That means AEW is live with Dynamite from Savannah , GA!!!  Tony Schiavone, Taz and Excalibur have the call of the action tonight.

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe comes out, resplendent in a very handsome suit. He says that no more opportunities will be given, they shall be earned. As he's threatening the entire locker room, Hook comes out. He extends the hand and Joe shakes it. He vows to see Joe again. Security comes in to escort Hook out and Hook takes them out. 

Joe joins the booth as the announcers run down tonight's card.

Hangman Adam Page vs. Penta El Zero Miedo

Code of Honor adhered to. Slap by Penta. Slap by Page. Lockup, we get a clean break. Lockup, slap in the corner by Penta, they trade chops. PAge with forearms. Uppercut by Penta, boot to the face by Page. Sling blade by Penta. Fallaway slam by Page into a standing shooting star for 2 by Page. Page rams Penta into the buckle and kicks him into a slumped position.  Page glares at Joe.

Page misses an elbow and Penta with a headscissors and a legdrop for 2. Chop by Penta. Chop by Page.  Now they're trading corner chops, and then clotheslines.  Lariat by Penta, both men are down as we go to commercial.

We are back.  Page with a whip, Penta with a kick and he nails a tope con hillo. Penta throws Page back into the ring but misses a double stomp. DVD for 2 by Page. Clothesline by Page and a 10 pack of punches in the corner. Superkick by Penta into a powerslam for 2. Armbar by Penta, Page pwers out into a Liger Bomb for 2. They trade elbows on the apron. Chops and Penta tries a fear factor. Page blocks it. Penta scores a 2 with Made in Japan. Deadeye by Page on the apron, he nails a moonsault on the floor. Page with a buckshot and he scores the pin.

WINNER HANGMAN ADAM PAGE

Renee Paquette is with Orange Cassidy. Cassidy accepts Roderick Strong's challenge. Cassidy still wants to wrestle before then.

The Young Bucks are walking in the back. They are confronted by Alex MArvez. They run down Marvez. They run into Top Flight and chide them for not having their credentials.

Wardlow vs. Trent Baretta

Chaos and the Devils henchmen are out as well.  Wardlow with a shoulder tackle. Wardlow with an F10. Small package for 2 by Trent into a dropkick. Punch by Wardlow.  We go to commercial.

We're back and Trent throws forearms. Headbutt by Wardlow, Knee strike by Trent. Wardlow to the floor. Trent with a tope and a half and half back in the ring. Piledriver by Trent for 2. Cross body by Trent, Wardlow catches him and powerslams him. Draping knee strike by Wardlow. Powerbomb by Wardlow and he scores the pin.

WINNER WARDLOW

Cassidy, Rocky Romero and Chuck Taylor pull Wardlow off Trent. Trent is not happy that he lost and/or got rescued.

We see a video package on Adam Copeland and Minoru Suzuki.

Renee Paquette is on the stage and brings out Deonna Purrazzo and Toni Storm. Excellent camera work as Storm is in B&W. They trade verbal jabs.  Purrazzo is here to be the world champion. Deonna wants Storm to find the old version of herself. Strom throed a shoe at Deonna and they brawl.  Mariah May with the save and the champion takes off. Purrazzo poses with the belt.

Jon Moxley is in the back. He vows to bleed on Rampage Friday.

Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie are backstage. Taya isn't happy about Deonna cutting to the front of the line.

Swerve Strickland vs. Jeff Hardy

Rollup by Swerve for 1. Headlock takeover for 1 by Swerve. Headlock by Swerve, rollup for 1 by Hardy, Shove by Sweve, chop and a punch by Hardy, he misses a charge. Backbreaker by Swerve. Hardy with an upkick. Shoulder blocks in the corner by Hardy. Standing splash by Hardy into a dropkick. Kick by Swerve. Leg sweep by Hardy into a legdrop for 2. 

Swerve with a kick to the jaw and a neckbreaker on the floor. Hardy punches Swerve's leg on the apron. Running knee by Hardy as we go to commercial.

We are back and Swerve knocks Hardy off the top rope. Back elbow by Hardy and Hardy nails a corkscrew.  Back kick by Hardy. Axehandle by Hardy. Sling blade by Hardy. Reverse atomic drop by Hardy into a legdrop. Elbow for 2 by Hardy.  Swerve dumps Hardy over the top rope, Into the post goes Hardy. We are on the floor. Twist of Fate on the floor by Hardy. Hardy misses a swanton. Kick by Swerve for 2. Backslide for 2 into a rollup by Hardy for 2. Jawbreaker by Hardy. Flatliner by Swerve. Suplex by Swerve and he nails the Swerve Stomp for the pin.

Renee is with Hangman Page. Swerve interrupts. They are both undefeated and argue about their standings. Next week, they get to choose each others opponents. 

Thunder Rosa vs. Red Velvet

Go behind takedown by Rosa. Velvet makes the ropes. Arm twist by Velvet, deep arm drag by Rosa. Trip by Rosa. Velvet blocks a drive into the buckle and sends Rosa to the floor as we go to commercial.

We are back and it's a clothesline by Rosa. Running clothesline by Rosa. Knee strike into a Northern Lights for Rosa. Punches by Velvet. Stomp by Rosa. Double knees to the back by Velvet. Shotgun by Rosa. Rosa with a Thunder bomb for the pin.

Tony Schiavone brings out Darby Allin and Stiiiiiiiiiiiing

Darby talks about the impact Sting has had on his career and life. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson are watching in the back. Darby points out that they are undefeated and he wants an AEW World Tag Team Title match. Sting takes the mic. He says he's all in.

AEW Trios Championship: The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn vs. Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony

• Cage bullies Caster into the corner with shoulder blocks. Dropkick by Caster into an armbar
• Bowens tags in and chops away at Cage. Elbows and punches by Bowens
• Cage sends Bowens into his corner and Kaun tags in and kicks away at Bowens
• Enziguiri by Bowens. Bowens with a forearm. Toa sends Bowens to the floor as we go to commercial
• We are back and it's a face drop by Bowens
• Leona tags in and eats a Bowens elbow. Kaun with the tag but Bowens with a desperate tag
• Gunn eats a forearms form Leona
• Kaun with a pedigree for 2. Prince Nana throws a chair into the ring. Jay White pulls it away
• Austin and Colten power bomb Nana through the time keepers table
• Modifies 3D by the Acclaimed. Mic Drop by Caster and he scores the pin.

We see a video package on Serena Deeb.

Minoru Suzuki vs. Adam Copeland

Forearm exchange right away.  Copeland goes down eventually. Copeland blocks the Gotch piledriver. To the apron, Suzuki with a knee strike and a guiilotine. Both men fall to the floor. Copeland drives Suzuki through the barricade.  They trade on the floor and barely make it back in.  They trade forearms and elbows. Dueling palm strikes and both men are down. As they rise, they trade shots. DDT by Copeland.

Fujiwara armbar by Suzuki, Copeland makes the ropes. Rear choke by Suzuki but a spear by Copeland for 2. Choke by Suzuki. Copeland sends Suzuki into the buckles and nails a killswitch for the pin

WINNER ADAM COPELAND

Christian Cage looks on with disgust. 

Copeland with the mic and says he's never been hit that hard in his life. He pays respect to Suzuki. Suzuki walks off. He still wants Cage in the ring.

We go to credits.
