WILLIAM REGAL RETURNS TO WWE TV

William Regal appeared on WWE NXT tonight in a pre-taped segment with Ava, playing off his own past as NXT General Manager as he named her the official NXT GM and told her that if she needed him, he was available.

It was Regal's first appearance on WWE programming since returning to the company from AEW.   His agreement when he exited that company was that he could not appear on WWE programming for a year, a time period which recently elapsed.
