SECOND SET OF 1/20 TNA SPOILERS FROM ORLANDO

TNA Impact Spoilers 1/20/24

Tom Hannifan and Gia Miller came out for some Xplosion matches.

Match 1) Trent Seven defeated Mahabali Shera following a modified Burning Hammer.

Match 2) John Skyler with Jason Hotch defeated Rich Swann. Skyler cut a promo before saying some are saying Swann is in a slump. He mentions Swann being from Baltimore but at least he’s not from Orlando. AJ Francis came out for commentary. Jason Hotch tried to get involved and Francis left the commentary table to take him out. Skyler hit Swann with the Green Bay Plunge for the win.

Match 3) Mike Bailey defeated Jai Vidal via Ultimate Weapon.

Match 4) Dirty Dango with Alpha Bravo and Oleg Prudius defeated Laredo Kid. Oleg and Alpha caused a distraction leading to Dango hitting a top rope leg drop.

Matthew Rewoldt came out to replace Gia Miller for the Impact tapings.

Impact Tapings Match 1) Kon defeated Richard Adonis and Ori Gold in a handicap match with a chokeslam bomb on one. He did a neck snap on one after the match and went to do one to the other but PCO’s stretcher was brought out. Jon went up and hit some of the doctors including throwing one. PCO and Kon then fought in the ring until security came out to stop them but Kon and PCO couldn’t be stopped. Kon chokeslammrd one onto a couple on the floor. PCO hit a suicide dive onto Kon and a pile of security guards on the floor. Kon gave PCO a claw style chokeslam on the ramp and posed.

Match 2) Tasha Steelz defeated Xia Brookside via a stacked pin.

Match 3) Frankie Kazarian defeated Jake Something via a stacked pin while grabbing the bottom rope out of the referee’s view after pulling Jake off the top rope causing Jake to hit the back of his head on the turnbuckle.

Match 4) Jordynne Grace defeated Savannah Evans with Giselle Shaw with a Muscle Buster in a non-title match. Giselle got in the ring and hit Jordynne with the X from the Ultimate X. She bit Savannah with it. She then hit a running knee on Jordynne and posed with both the X and Knockout’s Title.

Match 5) ABC (Ace Austin and Chris Bey) defeated Grizzled Young Vets (James Drake and Zack Gibson) when Ace Austin did a bridging pin on Drake in a non-title match. It’s possible that the match was announced as being part of a best of three series but it was hard to hear.

Match 6) Crazzy Steve defeated Rhino to retain the TNA Digital Media Championship. Rhino brought a table into the ring but Steven put it back under. Steven brought the title into the ring but the referee put it in the corner. Steve then pulled a fork out of his boot to use, the referee took the fork away, and Steve hit Rhino with the title while Steve wasn’t looking.

Joe Hendry vs. Cody Deaner was set to take place. Before the match as Hendry entered the ring, a music video of AJ Francis played referencing the Hard to Kill preshow. AJ Francis came to the ring saying that Joe interrupted him AJ would interrupt him. He said he runs the show and it should be called TNAJ Francis. Hendry said his feelings are hurt and for the first time ever he is speechless. For him to fire back totally unprepared, he’d have to have a back up video just in case. He then says to roll the footage. It is a video that is a parody of AJ Styles I Am theme titled “Banned From Diving.” Deaner then jumped Hendry. AJ chokeslammed Hendry. Swann came out and took out Deaner. Swann and Francis had a staredown. AJ Francis bailed from the ring as Swann checked on Joe.

Match 7) Dani Luna with Jody Threat defeated Killer Kelly with Masha Slamovich via school girl roll up. Kelly and Masha jumped Jody and Dani after the match until Rosemary and Havok came to the ring. They looked down at Jody and Dani in the corner while MK Ultra bailed.

Match 8) Chris Sabin defeated Jason Hotch with John Skyler via Cradle Shock in a non-title match. Before the match, John Skyler cut a promo. He mentioned Sabin being a 10-time X Division champion. Skyler said Sabin likes making history and he will make history by losing the X title for a tenth time. This Sunday at No Surrender, where he will get these good hands. The previous promo and match felt like it may have been a retape from yesterday’s match.

Match 9) Simon Gotch defeated Jack Price via a cradle piledriver and then a crossface. Before the match, Josh Alexander came to the ring for commentary. After the match, Gotch attacked Price. Josh Alexander got in the ring and went face to face with Gotch exchanging words.

Eric Young came to the ring for a match. Kazarian came to the stage sitting on a chair saying he’s not sure what Eric expected but it looks like he wants a fight. He says Eric doesn’t decide when he gets to wrestle, Frankie does. He mentions Eric has ghosts of his past and he introduces one to face him: Big Damo.

Match 10) Eric Young defeated Big Damo via a modified Styles Clash without locking Damo’s arms. Eric Young says he doesn’t fully understand what is going through Kazarian’s mind but he’s very sure what is going through his own and for Kazarian it is not going to end well. He tells Kazarian to bring a scarf and those prettt boy shoes and to meet him at No Surrender (shown on the screen as tomorrow). Kazarian walls to the back.

Before the next match, George Iceman troduced Ash by Elegance.

Match 12) Ash by Elegance defeated Savannah Thorne via a Senton Bomb.

Match 13) The System (Moose, Brian Meyers, and Eddie Edwards) with Alisha Edwards defeated Alex Shelley, KUSHIDA, and Kevin Knight via the Hit Stick on Knight. There was some brawling after with Shelley getting Moose in the Border City Stretch but Brian and Eddie pulled Moose out. Shelley grabbed the world title and posed with the title. Shelley, Kushida, and Knight stayed in the ring. He mentioned there is a lot of wrestling comes to Orlando but the fans chose to come here. He mentions AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and the Motor City Machine Guns as names that made their name in TNA and mentions Mike Bailey, Josh Alexander, Kevin Knight as future and says TNA is where legends are formed. He thanks the audience again and that’s it for the night.
