As PWInsider.com reported earlier today, longtime Florida star Frankie Ciatso passed away this weekend. A number of names from the pro wrestling world have taken to social media to pay tribute to Ciatso:
Kenny King: "Getting tired of losing my friends. Frankie was the heart and soul of Florida wrestling, but in a lot of ways he was the heart of independent wrestling. He loved this business, and the people in it. He will be missed. What a damn shame."
Godspeed, Frankie Ciatso. You were always good to me. I have no words. Another brother gone. Rest well, hermano. ????

Frankie Ciatso was a guy I’ve known for many years, a Florida/Georgia staple of Independent wrestling. Worked with him many times, whether it was WWN or for Lariato Pro. Dude was always a guy that would make ya laugh have have fun. Sad to hear about his passing. Godspeed and Rest…

Frank always greeted you with a smile and took time to help not only me but many others coming up in Florida in any way he could. He LOVED pro wrestling and wanted the best for everyone in it. A good man gone too soon. Rest easy to the king of the southeast, Frankie Ciatso.

Gabe Sapolsky: "RIP Francisco Ciatso. Thank you for everything. Condolences to his friends and family. An unsung hero of the WWN crew. Could always depend on Frankie and he loved the business. You will be missed."
RIP Francisco Ciatso. We didn’t always see eye to eye but he helped me a lot when I was coming up. He was a guy who always gave back to the business, especially the Florida scene. Thanks for everything, Frankie.

Luke Hawx: "The independent scene is at a loss. Francisco Ciatso was a true passionate wrestler who absolutely loved the business and went above and beyond for it. He helped and coached a lot of people who wanted to get in the business. He loved it, he gave his life to it and he never took his foot off the pedal. I admire his admiration for Pro Wrestling. Frankie was one who truly lived for the business. Rest easy boss."
Shawn Donovan: "RIP Francisco Ciatso … couldn’t have said it better than my buddy Luke Hawx … Francisco was so passionate about helping others in our industry…we had great conversations in locker rooms working events in Florida and he did his best to help get some additional eyes on me when he didn’t have to…he was very selfless…He truly loved the industry and everyone in it…he will be greatly missed."
Mike Bucci: "I just saw the news about Francisco Ciatso. I’m really sorry to hear this and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Frankie was a great guy. Hard worker, good attitude and always a pleasure to be around. Everybody that knew him, loved him. A true throwback to the way the wrestling business used to be. He earned everything he got. RIP my friend."
