WWE NXT REPORT: WHO FACES LYRA?, THE DUSTY CONTINUES, JOE 'WHATAMANEUVER' GACY, AND MORE

Match Number One:  Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams versus Edris Enofe and Malik Blade in a First Round Match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic

Hayes and Blade start things off and Hayes with an arm drag and Blade with one of his own.  Blade and Hayes with leg sweeps and covers.  Hayes and Blade go for a drop kick at the same time and get back to their feet.  Blade with a wrist lock and Enofe tags in.  They hit a double back elbow.  Enofe gets chopped when he shoots a free throw with his shirt.  Trick tags in and hits a drop kick.  Trick with a slam.  Trick with another slam.  Blade tags in and Trick with punches to Enofe and then he hits a flying clothesline on Blade.  Trick with a snap neck breaker to Enofe.  Hayes misses a move off the turnbuckles and Blade with clotheslines to Hayes.  Blade drop kicks Trick off the apron.  Hayes with a super kick and Enofe tags in and he misses a cross body but does not miss with a drop kick.

Trick tags in and Enofe with arm drags but Trick avoids one.  Trick with an Irish whip and splash into the corner.  Hayes tags in and he hits a splash in the corner.  Hayes and Trick with a double shoulder tackle and then Trick sends Hayes onto Enofe with a splash for a near fall.  Trick tags in and he punches Enofe.  Enofe kicks Hayes and gives Trick an elbow.  Blade tags in and he sends Trick into the turnbuckles.  Enofe with a Tiger Feint Kick and Blade with a slingshot senton.  Trick with an arm drag but Blade with punches.  Enofe tags in and he punches Trick and so does Blade.  Enofe with a faceplant.  They give Hayes a flapjack.  Blade and Enofe with dives onto Hayes and Trick.

Hayes with chops to Enofe but Enofe chops back.  Hayes with an elbow drop when Enofe gets back in the ring.  Trick tags in and they hit a double back elbow.  Trick wtih a front face lock and Enofe with a drop kick.  Blade tags in and Blade with a suplex.  Blade misses punches in the corner but Trick does not miss with jabs and an uppercut.  Trick misses a drop kick when Blade holds on to the ropes.  Blade with a drop kick for a near fall.  Enofe tags in and they hit a double back elbow.  Enofe gets a near fall.  Enofe with a front face lock.  Enofe with a side head lock but Trick blocks an IRish whip and Trick with an Irish whip but he misses a splash.  Hayes tags in and gets a near fall with a rollup.

Hayes with a side head lock take down.  Enofe with a rollup for a near fall.  Hayes with a reverse chin lock.  Enofe goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Hayes blocks it.  Blade tags in and he hits a slingshot back breaker for a near fall.  Enofe with forearms to Hayes.  Trick tags in and hits a back elbow followed by a clothesline.  Enofe avoids a cyclone kick but Trick with a double flap jack.  Trick kicks Enofe in the ribs and he hits a uranage for a near fall.  Hayes tags in and Blade with flip blockbuster.  Trick with a neck breaker to Blade.  Enofe with a belly-to-back suplex to Trick and Enofe goes up top and hits the elbow drop for a near fall.  Hayes with a springboard clothesline to Enofe but Blade with a kick and a frog splash for a near fall.  Enofe goes for a pescado but Trick punches him.  Hayes with First 48 and Trick tags in and hits the flying knee for the three count.

Winners:  Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes (advance to face winner of LWO versus Chase U)

Fallon Henley is with Kelly KIncaid and she asks how will she win tonight.  Fallon says it is down to brass tax.  She says she has never had a title match before.  She has to go through 19 other women tonight and it will be chaos.  It is time to show who she is.  She says she just needs to get it down to the final four and she will win.

We take a look back at Dragon Lee winning the North American Championship.

We see what happened last week with the North American Title.

Oba Femi walks in the back as we go to commercial.

We see Lola and Elektra walking in the back and they talk about their tag match tonight.  

Tatum Paxley shows up and she says that Lola and Elektra will lose tonight and then she will win the battle royal.

North American Champion Oba Femi makes his way to the ring.

Oba says many of you are surprised to see him as the North American champion.  The truth is that this prophecy has long been told that he would be drenched in gold.  As soon as he was born, it was said that he would be the biggest, strongest, and fastest.  The one who would stand over everyone.  He was a born leader.  He says he has been tested.  He was tested as a young Nigerian prince and he destroyed his opposition.  He was tested in the NCAA and as a D1 athlete, he made that world his own.  He won title after title and championship after championship.  In NXT, the goal is still the same.  He says he made is mark by beating three men to win the tournament.  He dropped Dragon Lee last week.  Now he has his divine right to rule over everyone.  He will crush to dust anyone who gets in his way.

Dragon Lee makes his way to the ring and he says he can be mad after what happened last week.  You took your moment and you won the title.  He says no one in NXT history has made as big an impact in as short a time as you.  That title represents opportunity.  You are the man holding it and Lee hopes Oba will give people what he gave to them.  Lee mentions the Open Challenge and he would like to be Oba's first opponent . . . tonight.

Oba thinks about it and he says no.  The Open Challenges are closed.  

Lee says he wants the rematch he deserves at Vengeance Day.

Oba says that Lee does not get to decide any more.  Femi says he may consider it.

We see Eddy Thorpe with Hank and Tank and he says he was on point against Dijak.  

Trey Bearhill shows up and he thanks Eddy for representing his culture.  Trey introduces himself to Eddy.

Dijak shows up and he says it is cute that Eddy made a friend and he apologizes for interrupting their pow wow.

Dijak says you guys must be proud of your culture.  You taught them everything but to quit.  He says he can deal with Bearhill tonight.

Trick and Hayes are in the locker room and they talk about their win and they are on their way to winning the Dusty Classic.  

Ilja Dragunov shows up and says the medical staff did not clear him for their fight but he is ready now.  He says he will not let Trick down and he says Trick is entitled to a big stage for his match.  He will give Trick his title match at Vengeance Day.

Trick tells Hayes about the match and Hayes reminds Trick that the finals of the Dusty Classic are at Vengeance Day.

Match Number Two:  Tatum Paxley and Lyra Valkyria versus Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez

Lyra and Lopez start things off and Lopez with a full nelson and cravate.  Lyra escapes and applies a side head lock.  Lyra floats over in the corner and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Lyra with a side head lock.  Lopez goes to the floor and avoids a spinning heel kick.  Lyra with a drop kick through the ropes to Lopez and Tatum tags in and does the same to Lola.  Tatum with a front face lock and Lopez with a snap mare but Tatum with a cartwheel.  Lopez chokes Tatum in the ropes and Lola tags in and kicks Tatum in the chest for a near fall.  Lola with knees to the midsection.  Lopez tags in and connects with shoulders.  Lola tags ina nd the hit a double forearm and Lola gets a near fall.  

Lyra and Lopez tag in and Lyra with clotheslines.  Lyra with an enzuigiri and Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.  Lopez kicks Lyra into the corner and Tatum tags in and hits a cross body for a near fall.  Lyra and Lola exchange punches.  Lola kicks Tatum when Tatum pushes Lyra out of the way and Tatum falls onto Lopez for the three count.

Winners:  Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley

The women are in the locker room and they talk about being the number one contender.  Arianna Grace says to believe it is to achieve it.  She says she will win tonight.  She mentions that she beat Roxanne Perez last week.  Grace says she can see herself walking down the aisle to beat Lyra for the Women's title.  She is doing this for every girl who dreams and she tells the delusionals in the locker room she is moving one step closer to the title.

Everyone leaves during Grace's oration.

Match Number Three;  Ridge Holland versus Joe Coffey (with Mark Coffey and Wolfgang)

They lock up and go to a stalemate.  They lock up again and go to a stalemate again.  Joe with a punch and side head lock. Joe bounces off Ridge on a shoulder tackle.  They exchange punches.  Joe misses a diving head butt and Ridge with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and splash.  Ridge with an Irish whip and back body drop.  Ridge with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and he backs Joe into the corner.  Ridge with shoulders and he punches Wolfgang off the apron.  Joe with a drop kick and Irish whips.  Joe with a double jump elbow drop for a near fall.  Joe with an arm bar.  Ridge with knees and a hip toss.  Ridge with a head but to the chest and he gets Joe on his shoulders for a hot shot.  Ridge with a punch and an Island Driver for the three count.

Winner:  Ridge Holland

After the match, Wolfgang and Mark attack Ridge.

They look to the entrance but no one comes out.  Joe joins in the attack to make it three on one.

Joe tells them to get Ridge up.  Joe says no one is coming to help Ridge and he hits All the Best for the Bells.

We go to NXT Anonymous and the latest Chase U meeting.  Jacy says the work has only just begun.

Jacy wants to talk to Jazmin and she asks her if she wants to hang out and get some drinks.

We go to commercial.
