HULK HOGAN HELPS OVERTURNED CAR IN FLORIDA, CUBAN ASSASSIN, BLACK PANTHER JIM MITCHELL MUSEUM EXHIBIT IN KENTUCKY AND MORE

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan received some attention on TMZ.com for assisting a teenager after she flipped her car in Tampa, Florida.

The IFC Film Center in NYC will be playing Rocky III, featuring Hulk Hogan and Mr. T on 2/9 and 2/10.  That's the film that very much set the stage for Wrestlemania 1 in terms of lighting a fire for the popularity of each.  For tickets, click here.

WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg's son Gage has committed to playing football for The University of Colorado's Buffaloes.

Bay 9 News in Tampa featured a piece on David Sierra aka The Cuban Assassin, at this link, discussing his career as well as the 2024 Royal Rumble coming to Tampa.

Louisville, Kentucky's Frazier History Museum now has an exhibit dedicated to The Black Panther Jim Mitchell, one of the first-ever African American wrestling stars.  Author John Cosper, who wrote a great book on Mitchell, personally donated some of Mitchell’s personal effects to the museum, including a pair of wrestling boots. The display can be currently found in the “Cool Kentucky” room at the Frazier.  Cosper has worked tirelessly on a number of excellent historical books in recent years including June Byers, Tracy Smothers, Chris Candido and more.

The St. Louis Post Dispatch featured a piece on the personalities featured in the old Wrestling At the Chase series locally.

Jushin Liger will be signing at the Big Event this March in Long Island, NY.
