EC3 VS. JAX DANE & MORE: NWA POWERRR TV REPORT

It’s time for NWA Power, our commentary team is Joe Galli, Tim Storm, and Danny Dealz are on commentary.

Episode 141 - Return To Robards Final

We start with a video package for the match between EC3 and Jax Dane. 

Kylie Paige (NWA Women’s tag team champions) vs Missa Kate & Ruthie Jay 

Paige has to defend the title alone as Ella Envy is not medically cleared. 

Paige starts with Jay. Paige dodges the lock up and nails Kate on the apron. Jay hits a suplex and then a front slam for two. Kate tags in and Paige whips her into the turnbuckle. Kate dodges and hits a scoop and a slam. Kate hits a rolling senton for two. Jay tags in and they whip Paige into the ropes. She comes off into a fireman’s carry by Jay, but Paige escapes and shoves Jay and Kate into each other. 

Paige gets a big boot and Kate is knocked from the ring. Paige gets a hip attack and then chokes Jay in the ropes. She breaks at four and covers for two. Paige slams Jay to the mat and then slams her in the top turnbuckle. Paige then hits a running dropkick in the corner for two. Paige gets a rear chinlock. Jay fights her way out and misses an insigiri. Jay kicks Paige off and Kate is tagged in.

Kate lays in chops and knees.Kate whips Paige into the ropes and hits a scoop slam for two. Kate misses a spinning kick, but Kate hits the second attempt. The belt is tossed into the ring by Paige’s security. Jay hits a crossbody on the security. As the ref is watching that, Kenzie Paige comes in a hoodie and hits a cutter, and puts Paige on top of Kate for the pin and the win.

Winner and still NWA Women’s Tag Team Champion: Kenzie Paige

Afterward Kenzie gets into the ring and is arguing with the ref, who thinks something shady happened.  Samantha Starr gets in the ring and starts the fight with Kenzie.

Kenzie Paige (NWA World Women’s Champion) vs Samantha Starr

Starr misses a charge in the corner and Paige starts laying in kicks. Starr gets a schoolgirl rollup for two. Paige gets a rear chinlock. Starr works out and gets a quick inside cradle for two. Paige chokes Starr in the ropes for four. Paige charges at Starr and Starr drops her with a shoulder tackle. Starr runs into Paige in the corner and whips her out with a snap mare. Starr then gets a head scissors and slams Paige’s head into the match repeatedly for a two count.

Paige gets a snap mare and then slams Starr to the mat.  She stands on Starr's hair and pulls Starr’s arms. Paige works over Starr in the corner, and then hits a snap mare and a kick to the back. They trade blows in the middle of the ring, and Starr hits a spinning sling blade. They throw forearms from their knees and to  their feet. It becomes slaps. Starr ends it with a facebuster slam for two. Starr hoists Paige, who escapes. She lifts her again for a Samoan drop. Paige says her ankle is injured. Paige baits Starr in, hits a cutter for the pin and the win.

Winner and still NWA Women’s World Champion: Kenzie Paige.

Chelsea gets in the ring to confront Paige, and Starr gets in the ring and hits Paige with a DDT.

Thom Latimer is with Kyle Davis and he complains about how people get shots at the world title for no reason, and he feels it isn’t fair.

Knox And Murdoch (Mike Knox & Trevor Murdoch) vs. The Country Gentlemen (AJ Cazana & KC Cazana) 

Murdoch and KC start off with a collar and elbow tie up and KC gets a side headlock. Murdoch works out and slaps KC. KC gets a scoop slam and AJ tags in and does the same to Knox, and Knox and Murdoch go to the floor to regroup. Knox and Murdoch drag them out of the ring and they brawl on the floor. 

KC is dropped on the apron and Murdoch works him over in the ring after rolling in. Murdoch hits KC with a full nelson slam and Knox is tagged in. Murdoch drops the leg. Knox does so as well for two. Knox then punches KC in the face, knocking him to the mat. Knox fends off all of KC’s attacks, ending each one with a clubbing blow. KC tries to hit an attack from the top and Knox just walks away. 

Knox hits a running crossbody for two, broken up by AJ. Murdoch is tagged in, hits a German suplex and covers for two. Knox is tagged in, and they keep working KC over. KC finally gets a jawbreaker on Knox and gets the tag to AJ.  AJ goes wild. He gets up after covering Knox for two. Knox and Murdoch hit the high low for the pin and the win.

Winners: Knox and Murdoch

Eric Smalls gets into the ring and nails Murdoch with a low blow and gets hit by a crossbody by Knox.

Kyle Davis is with the Southern Six and they talk about partying and not caring about  who they will face at the next pay per view.

EC3 (NWA World Champion) vs Jax Dane

They face each other and then lock up collar and elbow.  Dane forces them back to the corner and they break clean. They lock up again and Dane forces them to the ropes again for a clean break. They lock up again and Dane puts EC3 on the top. Dane goes for a punch, but EC3 kicks him and then grabs a side headlock. EC3 is shot off and dropped with a shoulder tackle by Dane. EC3 tries for a headlock takeover, but Dane stops it. They go to the corner and EC3 gets a headlock takeover. EC3 works it again. Dane is able to get a belly to back suplex and EC3 rolls out of the ring to regroup. 

Dane follows and they brawl at ringside. Dane rolls EC3 into the ring and lays in stomps on the joints. Dane locks in a rear chinlock and moves it to a nerve pinch. He drops an elbow on EC3. EC3 gets a jawbreaker and grabs a side headlock, but Dane drops him with a side suplex. Dane grabs a waistlock. EC3 breaks out with an elbow. Dane grabs him for a Samoan drop, but EC3 escapes out the back. Dane charges, and EC3 dodges, making Dane go into the turnbuckle post. 

EC3 slams Dane’s head into the turnbuckle from the outside, and then dives onto Dane on the floor. Dane is rolled into the ring and goes to the top. EC3 hits a diving crossbody from the second rope. Dane hits a running clothesline for two. Dane tries for a camel clutch, but EC3 fights out. EC3 hits three 1 percenters for the pin and the win.
