AEW DYNAMITE REPORT

It's Wednesday! It's Homecoming as AEW returns to Dailey's Place for this week's edition of AEW Dynamite! Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone have the call of all the action. 

Hangman Adam Page vs. Claudio Castagnoli

Kick by Page followed by forearms, Claudio to the floor. Page follows, they trade forearms. Page into the barricade. Page with a clothesline and he throws Claudio into the ring. Chop by Page. Backhand by Claudio into a stomp for 2. Rear chinlock by Claudio into an uppercut. Another stomp by Claudio. Headbutts in the corner by Claudio. Hangman gets in his face. They trade elbows. Giant Swing by Claudio, I counted 14 reps. Sharpshooter by Claudio into a crossface. DVD by Page. Forearm exchange. Uppercut by Claudio. Fallaway slam by Page.  Springboard clothesline by Page, he rains right hands on the floor. Press slam to the floor by Claudio as we go to commercial.

As we return it's a slugfest. Claudio blocks the buck shot and they fight on the ramp. They trade elbows and it's Page with the edge. He lariats Claudio into the ring. Claudio blocks the buck shot and scores a 2. Kicks by Claudio. They trade palm strikes and both go over the top rope to the floor.  Claudio runs Page into the ramp and a DDT by Page. Moonsault off the ramp by Page. Claudio catches a moonsault and tries a tombstone. Page reverses it for 2. Claudio sends PAge into the buckle. Running uppercuts by Claudio for 2 after a short clothesline. Elbows by Claudio. Deadeye by Page for 2.

WINNER HANGMAN ADAM PAGE

We see the debut of Mr Brodie Lee.

Orange Cassidy, Preston Vance, Dustin Rhodes & Adam Copeland vs. Brian Cage, Lance Archer and The Gates of Agony

• Leona and Rhodes kick us off. Kick and an uppercut by Rhodes. Rhodes with a 2 count.
• Vance tags in. Lockup. Cage tags in. He misses a clothesline. Copeland tags in, then Cassidy tags in and tries a chokeslam
• Cage throws him back bur Cassidy with a slumdog.
• Toa with a huge pounce to Cassidy as we go to commercial
• We are back and Archer sends Cassidy from the ring
• Big rising knee by Archer to Cassidy into a running elbow
• Jake Robers punches Jose the Assistant on the floor
• Patented kick by Cassidy into a floating DDT
• Kaun and Vance tag in. Vancewith a fallaway slam to Toa.
• Cutter by Vance for 2.
• An 8 man brawl breaks out
• Copeland with an impaler. Kaunwith a running knee.
• Orange punch and a choke slam by Cassidy, he gets thwarted by Archer.
• Archer accidentally kicks Kaun
• Cage and Archer fight.  Copeland spears Kaun and Vance lariats him for the 3.

WINNERS: PRESTON VANCE, ADAM COPELAND, ORANGE CASSIDY & DUSTIN RHODES

Renee Paquette is with the Bang Bang Gang. The Acclaimed show up and they offer a truce against the Undisputed Kingdom.

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe comes out. Champ looks great in his custom suit. There will be changes to the championship protocol. No more whining for title shots. If deemed worthy, you might get a title shot.

Out comes Swerve Strickland with the Mogul Embassy. Swerve says he took Page's spot and wants the AEW Championship.  Hangman PAge comes out. He looks right at Swerve. He wants in the hunt for the AEW Title. He vows to make 2024 the year he wins back the title. After a brief staredown, Page exits.

Hook enters the fray. He goes nose to nose with Joe.  Hook says it happens in one week.

Renee Paquette is with Toni Storm and Company.  Renee brings up Deonna Purazzo. They will have a summitt.

Sammy Guevara vs. Ricky Starks

Lockup, they jostle for position. Arm twist by Starks. Flip over into a headlock by Sammy. Shoulder block by Starks. Punches in the corner by Starks, dropkick by Sammy, Starks to the floor. Baseball slide dropkick by Sammy, he nails a moonsault on the floor. Chops and a shoulderblock by Sammy. They trade blows on the apron. Chop by Sammy on the apron. cross chop into a rochambeau on the apron as we go to commercial.

Enziguiri by Sammy. Side kick for 2 by Guevara. They fight in the corner. Back elbow by Guevara, he eats boots from Starks. Sit out powerbomb for 2 by Starks. Starks blocks a  GTH for 2. Inside cradle by Guevara for the pin.

WINNER SAMMY GUEVARA

They have a handshake but it's a ruse as Big Bill attacks. Chris Jericho makes the save and clears out Bill. They fight through the crowd.

Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, Anna Jay & Thunder Rosa vs. Saraya, Ruby Soho, Skye Blue & Julia Hart

• Soho and Jay kick us off. Slap by Jay. Running kick, tag in to Statlander, elbow, Jay tags back in
• Rosa tags in and nails a running kick. Soho escapes and tag Hart. Blue distracts Rosa and Hart with a clothesline.
• Saraya tags in and nails a kick before tagging in Soho.  Rosa with a running dropkick.
• Willow tags in and nails Soho with a hip attack. Cameron interferes and clotheslines Willow as we head to commercial
• Willow with a double clothesline to Hart and Blue
• Statlander tags in and nails Saraya with a kick and a Michinoku Driver for 2. 
• Anna Jay's team with a quadruple suplex
• Sky gets pounced by Willow.
• Everyone nails finishers. Jay and Hart square off. Queenslayer by Jay. Blue tags in. Jay with the Queenslayer for the tap.

WINNERS ANNA JAY, WILLOW NIGHTENGALE, KRIS STATLANDER & THUNDER ROSA

We hear from Wheeler Yuta, calling out Eddie Kingston

Roderick Strong vs. The Bounty Hunter Bryan Keith

Lockup, arm twist by Strong, headlock by Keith. Strong with a shoulder block. Chops by Keith. Kick by Keith. They trade chops on the apron. Backbreaker by Strong. Strong with forearms and chops in the corner. Keith blocks a back breaker. Elbows by Keith. 2 kicks and an Angle Slam for 2 by Strong. Headbutts by Keith. Stunner by Keith. Strong blocks a tiger driver. Backbreaker by Strong and he scores the pin.

WINNER RODERICK STRONG

Adam Cole has the mic. They have no interest in respect. They're taking what they deserve.  Cole tells Jacksonville to say hello to their new Kingdom.

Renee is with Deonna Purazzo. She's still on cloud 9. She'll debut on Collison vs. Red Velvet.

Falls Count Anywhere Sting & Darby Allin w/Ric Flair vs. Powerhouse Hobbs & Konosuke Takeshita w/Don Callis

Needless to say, this is a total brawl at the outset.  Quickly this goes into the crowd. Hobbs works over Sting. Takeshita with a big right hand to Allin. Hobbs gets sent into the recycling bins. Takeshita chops Allin. Sting sends Hobbs down the steps. Shotgun dropkick by Allin. Takeshita catches a coffin drop into a German as we go to commercial.

Hobbs with a 1 count. Hobbs and Takeshita double team Sting. They toss Allin into the corner. Sting takes them both on. Jumping knee by Takeshita to Sting. Flair enters the ring and pokes Hobbs in the eye. Sting sends Takeshota over the top. Allin with a lope to Takeshita. Action spills up the ramp. Sleeper by Allin, Takeshita sends him into the ramp. Allin to the crowd and nails a high coffin drop on Takeshita.

Hobbs with a powerslam attempt. Sting with a death drop through a table. Sting scores the pin.

WINNERS STING & DARBY ALLIN

Doctors check on Sting. Darby checks on his partner. Sting gets up and tony Schiavone joins them in the ring. The Young Bucks come out.  Looks like it's Darby & Sting vs. The Bucks at Revolution.
