With Damien Priest still having the MITB briefcase, what if WWE did an angle where he failed to cash in on time and the 1 year clock ran out. That has not yet happened with MITB. He can keep having MITB cash in attempts that get interrupted and then the 1 year clock runs out. At a minimum it would be different.
I wouldn't like it because it would make Priest look like an idiot. If nothing else, on the last day he would have to get himself a Title match or he would be a moron.
Since The Rock returned and hinted at going after Roman Reigns, does the Rock vs Roman Reigns make any kind of sense to happen at Elimination Chamber in Australia instead of Wrestlemania 40? I heard, from you guys, Australia REALLY wants the Rock down under. And I guess if Roman goes over, he comes out of it as an even bigger final boss for, let’s say, Cody to finally conquer in Philadelphia. The Optus stadium holds 70,000 people and Rock vs Roman could probably fill it. I’m just looking at the positives on putting the match there instead of Wrestlemania 40, what do you think?
Having it happen at The Chamber makes more sense than me to having it happen at Mania. Putting the legend in a big match against the current top talent is a Vince McMahon move. I don't see HHH doing it. Unlike when Vince was booking, HHH has built up so many legitimate contenders for the Title that he doesn't need to insert Rock in that role and frankly shouldn't. I think Cody should be the guy to beat Roman, certainly not any part timer. Now, could I see Rock in a role at Mania, like in Cody's corner or as the guest ref? Sure, that would work well. But as the challenger? I don't like that.
If WWE goes with The Rock vs Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 40, where does that leave Cody Rhodes?
That's exactly why I don't want Rock in the role, as mentioned above.
I read on the site that AEW has signed Deonna Purrazzo. She's a fantastic talent to be sure and deserving of a spot. With that being said, by multiple accounts AEW is close to, if not, losing money at this point. My question is: Why is TK still hiring talent? Wouldn't that be the equivalent of Vince having MORE water coolers installed in Titan Tower during the mid 90s?
I wish I had a good answer as to why he keeps bringing in new talent. Part of it is that he is such a bad booker than he needs new people to bring change to the product since he can’t create great characters and storylines on his own. I think the other reason is that he likes to collect wrestlers.
What do you think about the reports that Tony Khan is willing to offer Sasha Banks 5 million dollars a year for five years?
First off, I can’t confirm the reports so I can’t say that there is any truth to it. There are a lot of bad “reporters” in the world today. With that said, I think that Mercedes is great, for sure. I think if Tony will pay her that, she’d be crazy not to take it (if she can get it guaranteed even if AEW goes under). From Tony’s perspective, I think it’s a ridiculous amount of money to spend on someone who will not instantly double your business, and honestly there may not be anyone out there that could do that. But, as mentioned above Tony loves to collect wrestlers so it wouldn’t shock me if he did it.
