ATSUSHI ONITA RETURNING TO UNITED STATES WRESTLEMANIA WEEKEND

Legendary FMW star Atsushi Onita will return to the United States over Wrestlemania 40 weekend in Philadelphia.

Onita and a mystery partner will face Team 3D in the main event of the 4/7 Battleground Championship Wrestling event at the 2300 Arena.

Onita has made several appearances over the last year in a feud against Team 3D's Bully Ray, last appearing for the promotion in March 2022, teaming with FMW Leather to defeat Bully and PCO.

In May 2023, Onita underwent a successful abdominal aortic aneurysm.  He returned to the ring the following month and has made appearances since for All Japan Pro Wrestling, DDT and Onita's own promotion FMW-E, among other promotions.
