The belief is that the former MLW Tag Team Champion is signed to AEW but other than a few dark matches hasn't been used lately. Unless there's an injury, I don't know why he isn't in the mix. Hopefully soon.

No. He had no involvement over the creative of the film.
Do you ever see Wrestlemania going back to smaller venues?
No, there's too much money to be made in the stadiums.
Whatever happened to Abraham Washington?
After his WWE release, he did some pro wrestling on the independents. I am not aware of what he's doing in 2024.
With the Velveteen Dream doing his apology tour, do you see anyone booking him?
Eventually, it's a possibility. I don't get the impression this is his way of getting back into the business as much as he's doing what he needs to do for himself to get his personal life in order.
