AEW DYNAMITE REPORT

It's Wednesday!!!  That means AEW Dynamite is LIVE!!!! Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone have the call of the action from Newark, NJ.

We see post match comments from the new AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.  We then see highlights of the World Title match from World's end, including Adam Cole's shocking reveal as the Devil.

Speaking of Cole, here he comes to kick off the show. Along with Roderick Strong, The Kingdom & Wardlow. Cole finds it ironic that people were shocked. He's upset that people think he's the bad guy here.  He reminds us all that MJF has turned on everyone he's ever known. He tells us that we will all someday thank him.  He tells us that MJF would have done the same thing the second he didn't need Cole. This was all about destroying MJF to his core.  He says the Undisputed Kingdom is here to stay. They make it clear that Roderick Strong wants the International Title. Wardlow will win the AEW World title and forfeit it to Cole.  Wardlow nods "yes".

Switchblade Jay White comes out. White says he's a fan of what happened to MJF but does not like being collateral damage. He brings out the Gunn Club and we have a brawl. Bullet Club Gold is outnumbered but the Acclaimed & Billy Gunn come out and clear the ring. We have a stare down.  Bullet Club Gold exits the ring.

We see comments from new American Triple Crown Champion Eddie Kingston.

We get a pre tape by Daniel Garcia ahead of his match tonight with Swerve Strickland.

AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy w/Hook & Danhausen vs. Dante Martin

Lockup, legsweep by OC. Kip up and an armdrag by Martin.  Lockup, armdrag by Cassidy.  Leglock by OC into a bow and arrow. Side headlock by the champion. Arm twist by Martin. Test of strength now. Monkey flip by OC. Martin blocks the pockets and nails a backslide for 2. OC takes a walk. Dante follows bu OC hits a flying headbutt. Cassidy sends Martin into the barricade and nails a running dropkick. Suplex on the floor by Martin as we go to commercial.

Slumdog by Cassidy as we return. Cassidy misses a charge and Martin hits a kick and a tope. Springboard cross body for 2 by Martin. Back elbow by Cassidy. They mock each other. Superkick by Cassidy. OC with stomps in the corner.  DDT by Cassidy for 2.  Diving DDT by Cassidy for 2. Cassidy takes off the elbow pad. Counter by MArtin into a GTS for 2.  Senton by Martin. Big phoenix splash by Martin for 2. Crucifix by Cassidy for 2. Martin misses a Senton and Cassidy nails the Orange punch for the pin.

WINNER AND STILL AEW INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION ORANGE CASSIDY

Code of Honor adhered to. Darius Martin and Action Andrade come out to support Dante.  The returning Private Party come out. They say the tag division has been missing flavor.  Thry say they're putting every taq team on notice.

Renee Paquette is with Luther and Toni Storm. She heading to Manhattan tonight. We are told that Mariah May is up next. 

House of Black challenges FTR.

Renee is with Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland. Swerve wants Samoa Joe.

Mariah May vs Queen Aminata

Slap by May into a kick. Right hand and a takedown by May. Flying headscissors by May. Dropkick by May to the back of Aminata as we go to commercial.

As we return, it's a double chop by May. Aminata blocks a rana. Slap by the Queen into a double chop. Kick to the spine by Aminata. Elbow by Aminata into a running elbow. Sling Blade by May. MayDay and May scores the pin.

WINNER MARIAH MAY

Renee is in the ring with May. May is excited about her debut, except for the fact that it's in New Jersey.

Out comes the debuting Deonna Purazzo.  Renee is excited to see her. Deonna seems very emotional to be here tonight. Deonna declares she is All Elite. May slaps her but Purazzo takes her out.

Christian Cage and the Patriarchy come out. Shayna Wayne takes the mic. My goddess demands respect for Christian Cage. Cage thanks Mother Wayne and his pride and joy Nick Wayne. He then thanks himself for putting the final nail in Adam Copeland's coffin. Killswitch doesn't seem happy about this. Cage tells Copeland to get to the back of the line. NJ chants for Luchasaurus. 

Renee is in the back with Saraya, Harley Cameron and Ruby Soho. Cameron is now part of the Outcasts. She seems to be in love with Saraya.

Konosuke Takeshita w/Don Callis vs. Darby Allin

Go behind by Allin. Takeshita throws him off. Arm twist by Allin into a rollup for 1. Headscissors by Takeshiya. Forearms by Takeshita into a high back drop. Headlock takeover by Takeshita. Springboard armdrag into a lope by Allin. big knee by Takeshita. Rolling German on the ramp by Tskeshita as we go to commercial.

As we return, Darby hits a cutter off the top and then a tope to the floor after Takeshita bailed. Back inthe ring a jumping tombstone scores a 2 for Takeshita. Allin to the floor and Takeshita misses a knee. Callis fans him down. Allin with a coffin drop to the floor. Takeshita beats the count and Allin hits a Code Red. Takeshita gets his knees up to block a coffin drop. Release German by Takeshita, follwed by another. Rollup by Allin for 2. Lariat by Takeshita. Running knee by Takeshita.

German off the top by Takeshita. Running knee and Takeshita scores the pin.

Four Way to determine a number one contender for the AEW Continental Crown Championship: Trent Beretta vs. Brian Cage vs. Bryan Keith vs. El Hijo De Vikingo

• They trade blows at the outset. Lariats by Cage. Vikingo with a tope to Cage
• Keith with forearms to Trent. Trent with a chop to the throat. Trent counters with a boot to the face
• Vikingo with a springboard arm drag.  Cage blocks a rana by Vikingo into a double chokeslam.
• Cage misses a knee and Trent with a clotheline of his own. Trent to the floor and punches away at Cage.
• Cage with a suplex to Trent as we go to commercial
• Danhausen is in the front row,
• Big spin kick by Vikingo into a springboard dropkick.
• Running double knee by Vikingo. Headbutt by Bryan Keith.
• Trent with a release German to Cage for 2. Keith clotheslines Vikingo
• All 4 are down. Keith is up first.  F5 by Cage to Keith. Sit out powerbomb to Trent for 2.
• Danhausen runs in and curses Cage. Keith and Vikingo superkick Cage. Vikingo with a moonsault. 
• Diving headbutt by Keith to Trent for 2. 
• Trent with the Deadeye to Keith for the pin.

Daniel Garcia vs. Swerve Strickland w/Prince Nana

Shoulder block by Swerve into a headlock. Swerve with a headscissor take down. Leg sweep  by Swerve, hard kick by Garcia. They trade palm strikes.  Knee to the gut by Garcia. Swerve bails and Garcia and Nana have a dance off. In to the post goes Swerve. Nana with a distraction and a kick by Swerve.  DVD by Swerve on the apron as we go to commercial.

We are back and Swerve with an uppercut, followed by a 2nd and 3rd. Garcia fires back with punches and a running knee. Shotgun dropkick. Suplex for 2 by Garcia. Sunset for 2 by Swerve. Backbreaker by Swerve. Swerve with a reverse suplex for 2.  Swerve and Daddy MAgic (on commentary) argue and Garcia sends Swerve into the rail. Garcia tries a sharpshooter on the table but there isn;t enough room. 

Superplex by Garcia but Swerve counters with a suplex of his own. Back elbows by Garcia. Kick by Garcia. Flatliner by Swerve. Side kick for 2 by Swerve. Swerve Stomp and Garcia kicks out a 2. Crucifix by Swerve for 2. Dragon stunner by Serve and he scores the pin.

WINNER SWERVE STRICKLAND

Low blow by Nana. Daddy Magic attacks Swerve and he gets taken out by Swerve. Hangman Page comes out. They slug it out. Security breaks it up.
