WWE NXT LEVEL UP REPORT

Match Number One:  Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend versus Sol Ruca and Dani Palmer (from April 7, 2023 episode)

Sol and Lash start things off and they lock up.  Lash backs Sol into the corner but they go to a stalemate.  Lash with a short arm clothesline and a wrist lock.  Lash lifts Sol up by the wrist but Sol with a wrist lock take down.  Sol with a wrist lock and arm wringer.  Sol with elbows to the arm.  Dani tags in and Sol propels Dani onto Lash for a cross body.  Dani with a wrist lock.  Lash picks up Dani and runs her into the corner.  Jakara tags in and she takes Dani down with a fireman's carry.  Jakara with an arm bar but Dani with a side head lock.  Dani floats over and then sends Jakara to the mat with a head scissors and follows with a drop kick.  Jakara grabs Dani by the hair and pulls her to the mat for a near fall.  Lash tags in and she kicks Dani.  Lash with a front face lock.

Lash swings Dani around in a front face lock and sends her to the mat.  Jakara tags in and hits an elbow in the corner and then gets a take down for a near fall.  Jakara goes for a power bomb but Dani with a jackknife cover and bridge for a near fall.  Jakara keeps Dani from making the tag.  Jakara with punches and a suplex but Dani lands on her feet and Sol tags in and hits a springboard clothesline.  Sol with two shoulder tackles and a butterfly suplex.  Sol with a handspring splash into the corner.  Jakara escapes a slam attempt and Sol with a rollup for a near fall.  Lash breaks up the cover and Dani sends Lash to the floor.  Jakara sends Dani to the floor and Sol hits Sol Snatcher for the three count.

Winners:  Sol Ruca and Dani Palmer

Tavion Heights says 2023 was Raw.  He mentions being an Olympian.  WWE is a different beast.  He says he is not used to facing someone Nathan Frazer's size.  He says it will help him in the Breakout Tournament.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two:  Nathan Frazer versus Tavion Heights (from October 13, 2023 episode) (from June 9, 2023 episode)

Tavion with a waist lock and take downs.  Frazer gets to the ropes and Tavion releases the hold.  Frazer with a rollup for a near fall.  Tavion runs Frazer into the corner and hits a few shoulders.  Frazer with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Frazer with a side head lock take down.  Frazer flips out of the corner and hits a flatliner into the turnbuckles.  Frazer comes off the turnbuckles and Tavion catches him and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.  Tavion with a top wrist lock and head lock.  Frazer with an arm drag to escape and an O'Connor Roll for a near fall but Tavion kicks out and sends Frazer throat first into the ropes.  Tavion with a German suplex and a gutwrench into a Dominator for a near fall.  Frazer kicks Tavion and then he lands on his feet when he is pulled from the ropes.

Frazer with an enzuigiri.  Frazer with flying forearms and then he is sent to the apron.  Frazer with a punch and a springboard move but Tavion catches him.  Frazer lands on his feet on a German suplex.  Frazer with a super kick and a Phoenix Splash for the three count.

Winner:  Nathan Frazer

Karmen Petrovic says Jacy Jayne is one of the most imposing people to face and it was only her second match.  She brings combat experience to her matches.  She learns from her matches and builds on them.  You saw a taste of her in the Breakout Tournament.

Match Number Three:  Karmen Petrovic versus Jacy Jayne (from August 18, 2023 episode)

They lock up and Jacy with punches and kicks in the corner.  Jacy with a side head lock.  Jacy with a shoulder tackle.  Karmen tries for a drop toe hold but Jacy stays on her feet.  Karmen sends Jacy to the mat and applies a side head lock.  Jacy blocks a hip toss and takes Karmen to the mat for a near fall.  Karmen with a crucifix for a near fall.  Karmen with a rollup for a near fall.  Karmen with a jackknife cover for a near fall.  Jacy with a knee to the head and she gets a near fall.  Jacy sends Karmen into the turnbuckles.  Jacy chokes Karmen in the ropes.  Jacy with a forearm to the back.  Karmen with a punch but Jacy with a knee to the midsection.

Jacy with an Irish whip and hip into the corner.  Jacy gets a near fall.  Jacy with a punch.  Jacy with a back senton for a near fall.  Jacy with kicks to Karmen and she sends Karmen face first into the mat.  Jacy stretches Karmen.  Karmen with a snap mare and she goes for a back slide but Jacy blocks it.  Karmen with a scorpion kick and a running forearm or two.  Karmen with kicks to Jacy but she misses a round kick.  Jacy with a rolling elbow for the three count.

Winner:  Jacy Jayne

Riley Osborne mentions his two matches with Axiom and he says that was trial by fire.  He says they had their first match and a controversial decision took place.  He says Axiom agreed to do a rematch.  Riley says the Breakout Tournament and joining Chase U were highlights of 2023 and the sky's the limit in 2024.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four:  Axiom versus Riley Osborne (from October 13, 2023 episode)

They lock up and Riley with a wrist lock but Axiom escapes.  They lock up and Axiom with a wist lock and Riley tries to roll through to escape but Axiom holds on.  Axiom with a back slide for a near fall.  Axiom with a springboard arm drag into a cover for a near fall.  Axiom and Riley shake hands.  They lock up and Riley with a wrist lock.  Riley tries to escape but Axiom holds on as Riley goes to the mat.  Riley with an escape and he avoids Axiom in the corner.  Riley goes for a rollup but Axiom stays on his feet.  Riley gets a rollup for a near fall.  Riley offers his hand to Axiom and Axiom slaps it away.  They go for a test of strength and Riley gets Axiom to the mat and gets a series of near falls.  Axiom is able to bridge and get Riley off him.  Axiom with a monkey flip and he holds on.  Riley with a monkey flip and both men hold on and get near falls.  They bridge and then maintain the test of strength.

Riley with a take down and leg sweep for a near fall.  Axiom with a leg sweep and cover for a near fall.  Axiom with a chop.  Axiom with a drop kick that sends Riley over the top rope to the floor.  Riley gets back into the ring and he pushes Axiom.  Axiom with a single leg take down and he starts to work on the ankle.  Riley rolls through and sends Axiom into the turnbuckles.  Riley with a snap mare and a knee drop to the head for a near fall.  Riley with a reverse chin lock.  Axiom with punches but Riley with a forearm to the back.  Axiom with an octopus and goes for a sunset flip but Riley escapes.  Riley with kicks to the head.  Riley with chops and Axiom chops back.  Axiom with a drop kick.  Riley holds on to the ropes on an O'Connor Roll attempt.  Axiom gets a near fall.  Axiom goes up top and is met with a drop kick from Riley.

Riley kicks Axiom away and then hits a rolling rana for a near fall.  Riley with a forearm and Axiom kicks Riley in the head.  Riley with a chop and Axiom with a forearm.  They go back and forth with forearms.  Axiom with a clothesline but Riley with a boot.  Axiom with a drop kick and then Riley hip tosses Axiom over the top rope but Riley goes to the floor as well.  Axiom with a chop and Riley with a Tiger Feint Kick on the apron.  Riley comes off the apron but Axiom hits Riley with a drop kick.  Riley gets back into the ring and Axiom with a frog splash for the three count.

Winner:  Axiom

Match Number Five:  Axiom versus Riley Osborne (from October 27, 2023 episode)

They lock up and Axiom with a wrist lock.  Riley with a reversal.  Axiom with a reversal and he blocks a counter and applies a side head lock.  Riley with a head scissors.  Axiom with a headstand and he escapes the hold and ties up the legs and stretches Riley.  Riley with a head scissors but Axiom lands on his feet.  They go to a test of strength and Axiom gets a series of near falls.  Riley bridges and Axiom tries to send Riley to the mat.  Riley flips over and Axiom with a kimura.  Riley rolls over and they are on their heads with their legs tied up.  Axiom misses a round kick and he applies a waist lock.  Riley with a back elbow.  Axiom with an arm drag and drop kick that sends Riley to the floor.

Riley with a forearm to stop a suicide dive attempt.  Riley with a slingshot shoulder tackle for a near fall.  Riley with an arm bar and a chin lock.  Axiom with a chop and Riley with a head butt to the midsection.  Riley with a sunset flip but Axiom rolls through and he hits a Northern Lariat for a near fall.  Axiom goes up top and misses a move but rolls through.  Riley with a flying leg lariat and he goes for a reverse suplex but Axiom with a knee.  Axiom with a half and half followed by a running knee for a near fall.  Axiom with a chop and kick.

Axiom with another chop to Riley but Riley chops back.  Riley kicks Axiom away.  Riley goes for a rolling head scissors but Axiom blocks it and counters into a sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Axiom with a forearm and chop against the announce table.  Axiom tries to send Riley back into the ring but he swings on the apron and kicks Axiom.  Riley misses a moonsault off the apron.  Axiom with a super kick on the floor and Riley beats the ten count to get back into the ring.  Riley gets his feet up when Axiom comes off the turnbuckles.  Riley with a twisting moonsault for a near fall.   Riley with slaps to Axiom and Axiom returns fire.  Riley avoids a sleeper but he hits a forearm.  Riley with a reverse suplex and he gets a near fall.  

Riley goes up top but Axiom kicks Riley to stop him.  Axiom with Spanish Fly and Golden Ratio for the three count.

Winner:  Axiom
