The UK wrestling scene is dealing with the sad loss of Kurtis Chapman, also known as "Mad Kurt", who has died aged just 26. Chapman wrestled for many promotions across the country, but most notably for Revolution Pro Wrestling, where he was a former British Cruiserweight Champion.
Chapman had notable matches throughout his career against big names like Eddie Kingston, Will Ospreay, Matt Cardona, and most infamously against Minoru Suzuki, where he did everything and then some to earn the vicious beating he eventually got, while also managing to earn Suzuki's respect. The Mad Kurt character was also an entertaining follow on social media, where he comedically trolled some of the biggest names in wrestling.
Revolution Pro Wrestling and promoter Andy Quildan posted a tribute to Chapman on X/Twitter:
We, at Revolution Pro Wrestling are absolutely heartbroken to report the loss of our dear friend Kurtis Chapman.

We watched Kurtis grow from a child to a young man who loved professional wrestling and continued to excel in all aspects of his life.
