Episode 138 - Return to the Robards Part 2
We start with a video package to set up tag team partners Mims (NWA TV Champion) vs Dak Draper and we start with that match.
Mims (NWA TV Champion) vs Dak Draper
They shake hands to start the match. They lock up collar and elbow and Draper forces Mims into the corner and they break clean. They lock up again and Mims blocks a full nelson. They trade waistlocks, and then Mims grabs a side headlock. Draper shoots him off into the ropes and Mims gets a shoulder tackle. They run the ropes and Draper grabs an arm drag and holds on. Mims works to his feet and they run the ropes again, with Draper grabbing a flying headlock.
Draper gets a shoulder tackle for two. Draper sweeps the leg for two, and then grabs a roll through for two. Draper gets a schoolboy for two and another rollup for two. Draper gets a scoop and Mims escapes the slam and slaps Draper. Draper beats Draper down and then stomps him down in the corner.
Mims gets a splash in the corner, followed by a belly to belly suplex for two. Draper gets a boot up when Mims charges Draper gets a clothesline and leaping back elbow off the second rope. Draper gets a spinning slam and Mims rolls to the floor. Mims stays on the floor until the time limit expires
Time Limit Draw
Draper calls for 5 more minutes and Mims says no.
Kyle Davis interviews Aron Stevens and Blunt Force Trauma about their upcoming match with The Fixers. Stevens says they are an unstoppable train and cannot be stopped.
Looks That Kill (Bryan Idol and Natalia Markova) vs Kamille and Thom Latimer in a Street Fight
No tags and all four start in the ring jaw jacking. Latimer and Idol brawl in the ring and Markova and Kamille fight on the floor. When Latimer and Idol go to the floor, Markova and Kamille fight in the ring. Markova dives onto Kamille and everyone brawls at ringside. Idol is back dropped over the barricade and they fight toward the stage.
Idol and Latimer fight on the stage and Markova is dropped over the railing. Latimer sets to pile drive Markova and Idol stops him. Idol is knocked off the stage and Latimer and Kamille drag Idol to the ring. Idol fights them off and the three go to the top. Markova is able to get a power bomb on all three of them and covers Kamille for two. They throw hands in the middle of the ring and when Kamille goes for a spear, she accidentally hits Latimer. Markova gets a double arm DDT on Kamille and grabs the pin and the win.
Winners: Looks That Kill
I like that we had a Street Fight that was just a fight. No weapons, no blood, no death match stuff. Just a brawl all around the arena.
Kyle Davis is in the ring with the Southern Six. They talk about how they are having the greatest time partying wherever they go, but looking at the women in the crowd, the men have nothing to worry about. Very old school heel promo.
Father James Mitchell and the Miserably Faithful come to the ring and Mitchell insults that crowd as well. He then insults the Southern Six as being rednecks and losers.
The Southern Six (Alex Taylor, Kerry Morton, and Thrillbilly Silas Mason) defeated The Miserably Faithful (Gaagz The Gymp, Judais, and Sal Vation) w/Father James Mitchell in a Six Man Tag Team Match
Morton and Sal start off and Morton works him over. Sal is able to reverse a slam and lays in stomps. He misses a leaping stomp and Taylor is tagged in. Sal lays in stomps on him. Gaagz is tagged in and covers for slams Taylor’s face on Sal’s knee and covers for one. Taylor gets a back stabber on Gaagz and then hits a double underhook slam. Mason tags in and it’s time for Gaagz to get worked over with quick tags from the Southern Six.
Gaagz is able to get a double noggin knocker and tags in Sal, who is able to work both Morton and Taylor with quick moves. Sal gets a flying crossbody on both of them. Morton is able to tag in Silas, who takes over. They run the ropes and Mason gets Sal up for a power bomb, but Sal escapes out the back and tries for a sunset flip, but Mason blocks it and tries for an elbow. Sal rolls out of the way and dropkicks Mason’s leg. Sal tries for a Tiger Feint kick but Mason catches him and hits a sidewalk slam for two.
Mason tags in Taylor. They fight on the top and Sal is able to get a pit down power bomb out of the corner. Both men are down and struggle to get up. Mason and Judias tag in and throw hands in the middle of the ring. Judias gets a clothesline in the corner and then nails a double clothesline on Taylor and Morton, who tried to attack from behind. Judias hits a chokeslam on Mason for two broken up by Morton and Taylor.
Gaagz tries to help, but he’s tossed. Judias reverses a power slam on Mason and then hits Mason with a big boot, slams Taylor and gives Morton a fallaway slam. Taylor gets a dropkick and knocks Judias into Gaagz, and the ref calls it a tag. Taylor is able to pick up Judias, and Mason gives Judias the big boot. Taylor tosses Gaagz to the corner, Sal snaps Masons’ neck on the top rope, but Mason fires back. Taylor tags in and they hit Sal with an electric chair superplex on Sal.
Gaagz gets a code red on Morton after dodging a big boot in the corner, but Mason hits Gaagz with the thrill ride. Mason puts Morton on Gaagz for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Southern Six
