WWE teased the return of The Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering tonight during a vignette on Friday Night Smackdown:

The trio will officially return to WWE at the 1/5/24 Smackdown episode and will be back regularly at that point, PWInsider.com is told by WWE sources.
As we reported back in September, all three were in Orlando at the WWE Performance Center. The team and Ellering have been signed for some time but waiting for creative to come up with a plan for their reintroduction.
