AXS TV STATEMENT ON VERIZON FIOS DEPARTURE

PWInsider.com reached out to AXS TV for comment on the network departing Verizon Fios as of 1/1/24.  The home of TNA Wrestling issued the following statement in response:

• Verizon has been a long time distributor of both AXS TV and HDNet Movies and we’ve appreciated their business.
• Our agreement recently expired and unfortunately we could not reach mutually acceptable terms.
• The distribution landscape is changing and popular content has to find its viewers on the most optimal platforms.
• We know AXS TV is valued by our other distributors as shown by recent launches in DC, Atlanta, Nashville, West Palm Beach and Miami.
