SCREENINGS OF 'THE IRON CLAW' KICK OFF TODAY, A LOOK AT THE LANCE VON ERICH SAGA AND MORE

Although the film officially opens tomorrow, there are screenings of "The Iron Claw" in major markets all across the nation starting tonight.

DMagazine featured an in-depth look at the saga of Lance Von Erich, featuring comments from Michael Hayes, David Manning, Kevin Von Erich, Brian Adias and Lance Von Erich himself at this link.  For those who don't know, Lance was brought in to fill the role of the third member of The Von Erich family on screen but quit after being turned down for a raise, leading to the family revealing he was not actually a family member - a revelation that many feel hurt the family's standing with the fans at the time.

Zac Efron, who plays Kevin Von Erich in the film, has been doing promotion despite a bad eye infection, so if you are wondering why he's wearing sunglasses during his interviews, that's why.
