12/14/23 Worcester, MA

Spotlight Match: Massimo Pesca vs Pedro Dones

The shot caller has returned and the brash Pesca is unwilling to accept that Dones is coming for his back. He says now that Ray Jaz is in the rear view, this is a new era for him. Pesca tries to hug the ropes but Pedro bowls him over. He can’t get the armdrag and Fonda sends him for a ride. Huge shoulder block. Pesca dodges a charge and sweeps him onto his back. Knees to the spine and a dropkick, Pedro is getting beaten with his own playbook. Finally Pedro hits a back elbow. Samoan drop. Headbutt to the chest and Pesca crashes on his back for the three. A dominant performance.

Winner: Pedro Dones

Paul Crockett & Brother Greatness are at commentary. Rich Palladino is your announcer. DC is selling pizza tonight. Let’s go!

Match 1: Brad Baylor (w/ Ray Jaz) vs Jermaine Marbury 

Oh god. I hate this. Specially, I hate that Jaz has joined Swipe Right as their mentor. I forgot this happened. I wish I could re-forget. Anyways, Marbury has been making his presence felt on Open recently. We love him and his goofy basketball mascot. DEFENSE. CLAP CLAP.  Crowd love doesn’t Baylor being pretty dominant through this contest. Marbury with a couple of quick counters but Baylor is just pummeling. Marbury finally rallies with the defense chant! A Kobe connects! He hits a sliced bread but doesnt get all of it. Baylor dodges a double stomp, shotgun to the corner and a TKO ends Marbury. 

Winner: Brad Baylor

 

Match 2: The Kelleys (Westfield & Grayson) vs Ace of Space Academy (Colt’n Charles & Max St. Giovanni)

The Kelley’s are used to having a size advantage but Colt’n is just handling them. The brothers use their tag team chemistry against the big man and batter him down while MSG tries to rally his partner. Colt’n with a huge German! Tag to Max! Moonshot European uppercut! Disaster kick! The Kelly’s catch him with a running elbow. Colt’n booted to the outside. Double choke side slam on Max for the win!

Winners: The Kelleys

It’s time for the showdown…a face to face discussion between Paris Van Dale and Kennedi Copeland. They’ve promised no violence tonight but…well…who knows. Kennedi says this whole TALKING THING doesn’t come naturally to her. Even the handshake tradition backstage is a little much for her. She doesn’t mean disrespect…except for Paris. Why would she shake her hand? Kennedi admits Paris is right…she doesn’t have a lot of friends. But her friends in Worcester want her to shut up Paris for good. Paris says she’s happy that Copeland found friends in the audience. She says other things…but there’s a lot of booing. Paris says no one is actually rooting for Kennedi. Next week Kennedi fights Shannon Lavangie and she can’t wait to see Copeland show up alone like the friendless loser she is. Dayum. Kennedi shakes her head and admits she’s right as we end the segment. 

Match 3: The Batiri (Obariyon & Kodama) vs Waves & Curls (Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn) 

The Batiri are none too thrilled for the swaying and antics of Waves & Curls. Kodama hits a hard chop on Jaelyn but that’s all he really gets before The tandem antics catch up to him. Traevon decks Obariyon off the apron but can’t keep Kodama down for the too. the distraction game is strong as Kodama hits a slingshot dropkick to the side and Traevon may have tweaked his knee??? The Batiri are swarming that limb, trying to keep Jordan as grounded as possible. Desperate slam….hot tag to Jaelyn! Sling blade to Obariyon! High cross body but Kodama breaks it up! Jordan tosses Kodama. Obariyon tosses Jordan. Obaryion collides with Kodama setting up Jordan to him up as Waves & Curls hit a doomsday crossbody for the win!

Winners: Waves & Curls

Match 4: World Class Channing Thomas (w/  Sidney Bakabella) vs Love Doug

Bakabella has the mic. It’s a classic World Class segment. Bakabella says that wrestling is Worcester below him. And he says his OTHER son will do the honors for Channing tonight. It’s Teddy Goodz!

Match 4: Teddy Goodz (w/ Channing Thomas & Sidney Bakabella) vs Love Doug

Doug charges right in and pummels Goodz. He dives and drops Channing. He chases Bakabella until the numbers game catches up…Teddy kicks the rope and crotches Doug. Backbreaker! Bakabella says to hurt him! Goodz trying to stretch him….Doug is caught up in this abdominal assist from Channing. The ref finally catches on…Doug’s free! Running forearm! Bulldoug! Kick out! Goodz goes for a backpack stunner, Doug rolls him up for three! Channing and Sidney were wilding out through this whole match. Absolutely unhinged. This was great.

Winner: Love Doug

Bakabella is furious at this embarrassment….he says next week, Doug WILL fight Channing Thomas!

Match 5: Sammy Diaz (w/ Brother Greatness) vs Richard Holliday 

BG said that Sammy needs a true test this week. This prolly won’t go well for him. Diaz with a shove and Holliday starts running him over. He goes for the 2007 early. Diaz is out…and lands right into an atomic drop. Holliday’s chop is ridiculous. Sammy with a dodge and blockbuster for two! He blasts Richard in the back of the head. Holliday with a dodge and huge lariat! Diaz getting whipped around! Spinout backbreaker! Torture rack! Diaz hits a pele kick! Diaz with a hangman’s stomp to the back! Holliday goes for the 2007 again…Diaz slips it but eats a cutter. Brother Greatness distracts the third attempt and Sammy runs in with the rollup and gets his feet on the ropes for the three! SINNER!!!!

Winner: Sammy Diaz

Match 6: Joe Ocasio & Tyree Taylor (w/ Brother Greatness) vs Alec Price & Gabriel Skye

My first thought is “where is FAP Guy”…and then there he was…booing in my ear as the IWTV champ hits the ring. Skye is furious after last week’s accidental double stomp to the crotch that cost him his match against Joe. Joe is furious that he got his nuts stomped. Tyree swining but Skye is matrixing away from all this work. Shotgun dropkick and a kip up! Joe demands the Skye tag Price…he also has unfinished business with the champ. Joe with the hard shoulder block but Price and Skye start working the Landmine over. Tyree with a blindside on Price. Blind tag and a spear to Skye! Gabe getting stomped out. Strong spirit still throwing hard shots but Tyree is firing right back. Tyree stunned, tag to Price! He launched off Joe’s shoulders into a ddt on Tyree! Block bustah!!!! Dive to Tyree, Skye hits a Frogsplash! Joe kicks out! Ocasio with a tilt a whirl backbreaker! Cyclone slam! Tyree gets Skye up….Joe tries the running headbutt but Taylor eats it! Uranage from Taylor! He goes for the Brooklyn zoo but Price hits an emergency leg drop! Thirty seconds left as Gabe and Joel just fight in the center! Gabe hits a shining wizard. Joe rolls to the floor and Gabe hits him from above! The bell rings as the time limit expires.

Winner: Time Limit Draw

Joe and Gabe battle to the back as Tyree starts to get in Price’s business. “It’s always been me! This is my house and I’m the landlord!” Price invites him back into the ring but Brother Greatness leads the linebacker of praise out of here.

Match 7: TJ Crawford (w/ Big Bacon Brad Hollister vs Dezmond Cole (w/ Fancy Ryan Clancy)

Cole is your number one contender for the Wrestling Open Championship but he still has to work his way to the big boss of big business. At least he has Clancy for backup. Cole doing his best to out maneuver TJ and keep him frustrated. An errant cross body lands Dez into a waiting knee. TJ with a quick rollup and a handful of tights can’t end it. Hard knee to the gut and TJ slows this contest down. Cole rallies with the crowd. Hard slap and a Michanoku driver! Rolling legdrop for two. TJ with a trip and dropkick to the head. Hard slam, TJ grabs the leg but it’s too much show and Cole kicks out. Hard vertical suplex! Cole tries to capitalize…TJ battles him on the top….Cole Germans him off the top! Superkick for a very close two. What goes up? TJ rolls up…Cole reverses it! He tries again and gets the bridge but Crawford gets out! Powerbomb! Swanton! Clancy stares down Bacon as the ref counts the three for his friend! 

Winner: Dezmond Cole

Main Event: Brick City (Victor Chase & Julio Cruz w/ Big Bacon Brad Hollister) vs Miracle Generation (Dustin Waller & Kylon King) (For the Eliminator Cup Tag Team Chanpionships AND the IWTV tag team championships - Winner take all!)

Can Brick City dethrone the IWTV champs in their 26th defense? Can Miracle Generation reclaim the titles they voluntarily relinquished after winning the IWTV belts? They announce that if there is ANY outside interference from either team…there WILL be consequences! Kylon and Cruz start hot and hard until King Sends Cruz flying to the floor to have an emergency business meeting with the CEO. Victor doesn’t care much better, getting tossed around by Waller. Chase pulls the hair and that pulls the needle quickly in the other direction…along with the save and a double dropkick sends the bricks flying. Waller with the cross body to the floor! Senton from King for two! LOUD chops from King! Victor with a blindside lariat from the apron as the ref has his back turned…Cruz boots Dustin off the apron and Kylon is taking all the heat. It’s a big brick beat down. King tossed with abandon into the buckles. Rough landing. Escape and tag to Waller! Flash running through the bricks but Chase trips up a handspring cutter! Dustin makes it work! Blind tag to Kylon! Chase tosses Dustin into King to break up the rally. King decking Chase but gets turned inside out with a lariat! Powerbomb side slam combo but King kicks out!!! they go for business is booming…King rolls it up! Kick out! Running boot to Chase on the top….POWWWWWWERPLEX!!!! Big Bacon runs in and breaks up the pin! Ring the bell! Ryan Clancy and Dezmond Cole hit the ring to even the odds!

Winners: Miracle Generation (by DQ)

Those consequences? Miracle Generation gets to name the time and place and match stipulation for their rematch….RIGHT NOW! But first Dezmond Cole says Bacon will be defending his title against him NEXT WEEK. But Miracle Generation…they don’t want to fight Brick City…they want to fight Allllll Of Big Business! In two weeks at “The Last Stand”? And the stipulation???? FOUR ON FOUR. Big Business vs Miracle Generation, Cole & Clancy in STEEL CAGE WARFARE!!!!
