Episode 137 - Return to the Robards Part 1

We start with a video package to hype The Immortals vs The Brothers of Funstruction for the US Tag Team Title.

Daisy Kill and Talos vs The Heavenly Butterflies (Faboo Andre and Tony Donati)

This is the Butterflies' debut for NWA. 

Daisy and Andre start off, and Andre takes ring time to take off his jacket in a sexy way and Daisy takes advantage with a clothesline. Andre gets a blind tag and then slides under a clothesline from Daisy, and lies on the mat, watching as Donati attacks from behind. Andre gets a hurricanrana and Donati follows with a scoop slam for two. 

Andre is tagged in and they double-team Daisy until Talos is tagged in. Talos misses a big boot on Andre. Andre hits a leaping forearm and a drop-kick and Talos ignores them and beats him down. Daisy is tagged in and Daisy gets an atomic drop, Talos gets a big boot to the face and Daisy covers for two.

Daisy gets an arm bar and then flips Andre. He puts Andre in a bicep cutter and puts his feet on the rope for more leverage. Talos grabs Daisy’s feet to further the leverage, and the ref sees it and calls for the break. Andre gets  a pair of chops. Daisy gets a rip cord and a heel hook. He slingshots Andre into the corner where Talos’s foot is waiting. Daisy stretches Andre across his knees, and when Andre bridges up, Talos pops him, allowing Daisy to switch positions and get a two count.

Andre is slammed by Daisy, and Daisy misses a drop fist. Andre is able to get the tag and Donate tries to run wild and gets a leaping double knee on Daisy from the top. Talos gets the blind tag and the Butterflies hit a clothesline into a backstabber on Daisy, but Daisy is not the legal man. Talos grabs Donate for a chokeslam but Andre comes in and puts Donate on his shoulders. Donate takes a big boot, and Andre takes a choke slam. Talos covers for the pin and the win.

Winners: Daisy Kill and Talos

Kyle Davis is with Dax Draper and Mims will be facing each other for Mims’s TV title. They praise each other and even though they are a tag team, they will both bring there A game. 

Colby Corino (NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion) vs Joe Ocasio

Lock up and move to arm bars. Corino gets a headlock takeover. Ocasio works to his feet and is able to take Corino down in an arm bar, and they both keep working the arm bar until Corino kicks Ocasio followed with an Olympic slam for one. Ocasio is able to get a roll up for one. They run the ropes and Ocasio tries for a back slide, but Corino flips out of it. Corino gets a power bomb and a flipping senton for two. 

Corino goes to the top and leaps in Ocasio’s arms and Ocasio suplexes him into the turnbuckles for two. Ocasio whips Corino into the corner and then hits a big splash for two. They throw hands and Ocasio hoists Corino in a firemans’ carry, and Corino tries to fight his way out, but instead Ocasio drops Corino onto his knees for a two. Ocasio slams Cornio spine first into the buckles and tries for a pin but Corino gets a small package for two. Corino hits the Spanish Fly and Ocasio rolls to the floor. 

Corino gets a big boot on the apron and misses, floating over the top. They throw hands on the apron, Corino finally gets a clothesline onto the apron. They return to the ring and Corino hits a flying forearm. Ocasio runs into a big boot in the corner. Corino gets a double underhook powerbomb, a short arm clothesline and then hits a DDT for the pin and the win.

Winner and still NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion

Taylor Rising vs Airica Demia vs Allie Recks 

Demia and Recks are making their NWA Debut.

They are all throwing hands until Demia kicks Rising out of the ring. Recks and Demia trade blows until Recks gets a drop-kick for the cover and Rising breaks it up. Rising gets a pair of suplexes on Recks, and then hits a third with a bridge for two. Demia and Rising trade chops. Rising gets a front driver/odd looking sunset flip into a two count. Rising gets a rollup for two. Rising tries for a crucifix bomb, but doesn’t grab the arm with her legs, but still gets a two count.

Recks crawl back in the ring and takes a drop toe hold. Recks and Demia are draped on the second rope and Rising hits a Tiger Feint kick and covers Demia for two. She then covers Recks for two. Recks gets an eat the feet on Rising, and Demia gets a backhand on Recks. Rising then hits a pedigree for the pin and the win on Demia.

Winner: Taylor Rising

Kyle Davis is with the Southern Six, and next week, they will be facing the Miserably Faithful. The Southern Six talk about how they have been having a good time in Florida and they will beat the Miserably Faithful, and they can afford the women, booze and fast cars because they are on the top of the mountain. 

We get a promo from Matt Cardona challenging EC3 for the January PPV in a Death Match. 

The Immortals (Kratos and Odinson) NWA US Tag Team Champions vs The Brothers of Funstruction (Ruffo and Yabo) w/Violent J

Yabo starts by juggling. Yabo throws the juggling balls at Kratos one at a time, and then Ruffo throws one to distract Kratos. Yabo tries for a sunset flip and Kratos is able to grab Yabo and swing at him. Yabo dodges the punch and then smacks Kratos with his tie. Yabo goes to the top and leaps at Kratos, and Kratos shoulder tackles him as he leaps. 

Kratos beats down Yabo in the corner and then suplexes him across the ring.  Kratos then suplexes Yabo across the ring again. Odinson is tagged in and he sets for a suplex as well, but Yabo escapes out the back. Yabo dodges a big boot and Ruffo tags in with a big boot and a neck breaker. Ruffo hits a leg drop for two.

Yabo is tagged in and Ruffo drops Yabo on Odinson for two. Yabo smacks Odinson with his tie and Odinson drops him with an uppercut. Odinson charges at Yabo, but Yabo sprays him with a flower on his lapel. Kratos is tagged in and Kratos knocks Ruffo off the apron. Kraytos then hits a leaping clothesline. Kratos then hits a leaping forearm on Yabo in the corner. Yabo is put on the top and gives him a big slap. Kratos goes to the top for a superplex for two. 

Kratos is busted open  and tags in Odinson. Yabo crawls to his corner and Violent J gives Yabo a balloon. Yabo pops the balloon in Odinson’s face. Ruffo is tagged in and gives Odinson an inverted atomic drop. Ruffo pops Kratos and charges at Odinson, who kicks him back into the corner. Odinson charges and Ruffo dodges and Odinson hits the ringpost. 

Ruffo hits a flying elbow from the second turnbuckle. Ruffo tags in Yabo and at that point Jackson and Lab, The Kids, attack the Brothers and then go face to face with Kratos and Odinson. The Brothers attack The Kids and then The Brothers and Immortals fight with the Brothers being beaten down.

Winners: The Brothers of Funstruction due to a DQ.  The Immortals retain.
