It is Saturday and this week, AEW Rampage was recorded after Dynamite at the College Park Center in Arlington, TX. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Chris Jericho, and Tony Schiavone.
Orange Cassidy, Marshall Von Erich, and Ross Von Erich w/Danhausen vs. Jake Hager, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker
The Von Erichs come out to Stranglehold by Ted Nugent.
Parker and Ross start off by locking up collar and elbow. Parker forces them to the ropes and breaks clean. Ross grabs an arm bar, takes down Parker and keeps working the arm. Parker works to his feet and Parker finally reverses the hold. Ross breaks out with a drop-kick and gets a running boot o\in the corner. He follows with a running drop-kick in the corner. Marshall tags in and hits a drop-kick. Menard tags in and takes a back elbow.
Hager tags in and Cassidy tags in as well. Hager tosses Cassidy into the corner and then whips him to the opposite corner, where Cassidy goes up and over and runs the ropes. Cassidy tries for a subset flip, but Hager picks him up and puts him on the top. Cassidy gets a running drop-kick with his hands in his pockets followed by a spinning DDT.
Menard gets a clothesline as Hager distracts the ref, and then Parker hits a running knee. Hager goes for a pin and only gets two as we go picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Cassidy has been the babyface in peril through the break. Cassidy is able to fight his way free and tags in Marshall, who cleans house. Ross joins him but they are cut off by Hager, and Cassidy is able to stop Hager with Stundog Millionaire. The Von Erichs drop-kick Hager out of the ring, and Cassidy dives onto Hager. Parker and Menard get in the ring and they toss Ross, and Marshall tosses Menard out of the ring and Parker gets the surprise roll up for two, prepositions for another one and gets two.
Marshall grabs a surprise roll up for the pin and the win.
Winners: Orange Cassidy, Ross Von Erich and Marshall Von Erich.
Parker, Menard, and Hager try for a beat down, but Danhausen is able to get into the ring and get a curse. Menard and Parker grab Danhausen, and we hear Stranglehold and Kevin Von Erich comes to the ring and takes a LONG time to get to the ring. The Von Erich brothers grab Iron Claws and Cassidy gets an orange punch on Hager, Kevin uses the Iron Claw to put Hager down.

We get words from Jay Lethal and Mark Brisoe about losing their matches in the Continental Classic on Wednesday. Mark says while he can’t win the Continental Classic, he is here to fight and this is his rookie season as a singles wrestler. Jay Lethal and the Jeff Jarrett crew show and Mark asks why he is still with them. Jarrett’s team leaves and Mark and Jay say they are fighting for the love of the game and honor as they shake hands.
Kyle Fletcher and Powerhouse Hobbs vs The Already In The Ring Hunter Grey and Paul Titan
Fletcher and Hobbs take out Gray and Titan before the bell, and then work them over for about 60 seconds until Hobbs gets the world’s most dangerous slam on Titan for the pin and the win.
Winners: Kyle Fletcher and Powerhouse Hobbs
Don Callis takes the mic and he’s not popular. He tells security to watch Jericho in the announcer’s position. He then says his tag team has won their matches faster than anyone else in the company. He says Jericho and Omega are scared of him so they had to team up to hide in the tag team division. He says his people will play by Don Callis Family rules which is that any two of his men can be a tag team.
We get an interview with Ruby and she says she lost again and Saraya shows up and says Ruby is nothing without her. Ruby tells her to go beat Riho by herself.
Anna Jay vs Red Velvet
Anna Jay comes to the ring on her own and the announcers hint she is looking to form an alliance with Saraya.
They lock up collar and elbow and Velvet is able to shove Jay off. Jay offers a handshake and when Velvet does so, Jay goes for the Jay kick, and Velvet dodges and gets a roll up for two. Jay gets a roll up for two, and then Velvet does the same.
Jay runs the ropes and holds on so that Velvet misses a kick. Jay bows and Velvet gives her a kick for doing so. Velvet lays in strikes in the corner and then puts a foot on Jay’s face to hold her in the corner. They fight in the corner and Jay puts a finger in Velvet’s eye and hits a hip attack to knock Velvet off the apron. Jay then stretches with a bow and arrow around the ring post as we go to picture in picture.
When they return to full screen, Jay has Velvet in a butterfly stretch. Velvet gets out by getting to her feet and stomping on Jay’s feet. Jay gets a suplex and Velvet blocks and second and hits one of her own. Velvet gets a sling blade and a back elbow, and then a leg lariat. Velvet calls for the match to end, and hits running double knees into Jay’s back and Jay is draped on the second rope. Velvet goes for a corkscrew kick, but Jay dodges it and follows up with a Gori bomb for two, but she sees Matt Menard comes down the ramp and releases the pin.
They argue and Velvet gets a surprise roll up for two. Velvet hits a spinning clothesline on Jay and then confronts Menard, who is now on the apron. Velvet sees Jay charging and dodges, but Jay is able to stop before running into Menard. Velvet charges and Jay dodges and Velvet clocks Menard, knocking him off the apron. Jay locks on the Queenslayer and Velvet has to tap.
Winner: Anna Jay
We get a video package about what The Devil has been up to on Dynamite.
It’s time for the main event
Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and Action Andretti vs Komander, Hijo del Vikingo, and Penta
Dante and Komander start off and it’s gonna be bullet points.
They work arms drags with the ropes being used for flips and spins while still holding on
They dodge each other with moves in the corner.
Dante leaps flat-footed to the top trope and hits a moonsault into the ring. Just amazing.
They trade quick one counts
Vikingo and Andretti tag in.
They run the ropes and counter each other's moves with holds and dives and attempted pins in the middle of the ring.
Darius and Penta tag in.
They take their time to allow the fans to cheer.
They go at each other with chops in the middle of the ring.
They run the ropes with arm drags and sling blades
The tag team siren goes off and it's everyone in the ring with Komander’s team diving onto Top Flight’s team on the floor as we go to picture in picture
When they return to full screen, Vikingo escapes a triple team and then slingshots off the top rope to arm drag Top Flight
Penta tags in and gets a casadora into a double DDT on Top Flights’ team.
Komander tags in and hits flying senton into a DDT.
Vikingo works over Dante ensign with a leg drop leap while Dante is on the second rope.
Darius takes out Vikingo and Penta comes in and takes over
Everyone gets a big move on the last person to come into the ring.
Dante and Komander fight on the apron, and Penta takes out Dante with a long blower.
Andretti takes out Penta and Komander follows taking out Andretti
Vikingo gets a Code Red on Darius after balancing on Darius's back
Dante gets a monkey flip on Vikingo.
ALL OF THIS WAS ON THE APRON.
Everyone is down on the floor and Penta is the first rolling into the ring.
Andretti rolls into the ring and they trade chops in the middle of the ring.
Everyone joins in and they trade chops, superkicks and everyone is down again.
Darius and Andretti get stereo Spanish Flies on Penta and Vikingo
Komander is tossed to Dante who spikes him for the pin and the win.
Winners: Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and Action Andretti
THAT WAS INSANE. There is no way I could capture everything they did in this match. It was pure action for six guys who have incredible timing and balance. This was an unbelievable match. Just off the charts crazy good.
