MLW FUSION SEASON FINALE REPORT: BATTLE ROYAL, TWO TITLE MATCHES, AND MORE

We take a look back at One Shot and the aftermath.

We go to WTF Headquarters and MSL is with Tom Lawlor and he says the show is a disaster because they didn’t win the title.

Tom tells MSL he is sick and tired of it.  He says when he came back, MSL told him he had a plan.  Tom says he cannot let this go on any longer.  What happened to being a titan and bringing back sports entertainment.  We had stars in the crowd.  We had Bob Uecker, G Gordon Liddy, Pam Anderson, and the San Diego Chicken.  Now we have drug testing and garbage out there.  It is time to be a titan.  What can they do with the holidays coming up.
MSL says they are going to do Holiday Rush and get this together.  They are going to reinforce the barracks.  The world is watching.  That is their chance to get everything back.

We see footage of Akira after he was attacked earlier tonight by The Calling. 

Joe says Akira will still face Rickey Shane Page tonight for the Openweight Championship.

Match Number One:  Battle Royal

Crawford charges at Blackwood and Crawford is sent to the floor and is eliminated as soon as the match starts and before Bishop or Lawlor get in the ring.  Lawlor punches Blackwood and Bishop joins in the attack.  Three with a head butt to Lawlor and Love Doug tries to eliminate Gosselin.  Gosselin punches Doug and Doug punches back.  Doug with a bulldog Thomas attacks El.  Deppen rolls to the apron.  Lawlor with a kick to Blackwood and Blackwood with a take down on Lawlor. 

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kevin with kicks to Deppen.  Justice and Three have Gosselin on the turnbuckles and set for double superplex and then it turns into a tower of doom spot.  Ichiban with a splash.  Everyone gets on the turnbuckles for another tower of doom spot.  Nolo with an elbow drop off the turnbuckles to Doug.  El wants a piece of Bishop.  El with a clothesline and Bishop with a chop.  They go back and forth while everyone else watches.

Bishop with an exploder and he clotheslines El over the top rope to the floor.  Doug and Gosselin continue to exchange punches.  Bishop watches what is going on and then Doug punches Bishop.  Bishop with chops.  Bishop with a Black Hole Slam and a side slam on Gosselin and Doug then Bishop eliminates both of them.  Ichiban is caught by Bishop and he is press slammed to the floor in the general direction of Doug and Gosselin fighting on the floor. 
Kevin kicks and chops Deppen and McCoy.  Kevin eliminates McCoy but Deppen eliminates Kevin.  Tony celebrates his elimination and he backs into Thomas and Thomas eliminates Deppen.  Lawlor with a splash to Nolo followed by one from Bishop.  They eliminate Nolo.  Justice and Three attack Lawlor while Edwards and Thomas go after Bishop.  They all focus on Lawlor for a moment then Thomas goes after Justice.  Bishop eliminates Edwards.  Three with clotheslines to Bishop and Lawlor.  Three with jabs and Bionic elbow.  Three with a running knee to Lawlor that sends him through the ropes.  Lawlor pulls Three ot the apron and Lawlor with a forearm.  They exchange punches and Three with an eye poke.  Lawlor is sent to the floor and Bishop eliminates Three.  Bishop sends Thomas to the floor.

We are down Bishop and Justice while Three sends Lawlor into the guardrails and his elimination is still in doubt since he didn’t go over the top rope.

Justice with forearms and chops.  Justice with a chop and splash.  A table is set up on the floor by Three.  Bishop catches Justice on a splash.  Justice is sent to the turnbuckles while Three and Lawlor fight to the back.  Justice with kicks form the turnbuckles.  Justice with a spear.  Justice goes up top and misses a splash.  Bishop with a choke slam and he sees the table on the floor.  Bishop with head butts.  Bishop sends Justice from the ring through the table with a Razor’s Edge.  

Winner:  Josh Bishop

We see Justice being taken out of the ringside area on a stretcher. 
Bishop attacks Justice on the stretcher and kicks him.  Bishop hits an EMT as well.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look what happened during the break with Josh Bishop.

We see Rickey Shane Page turning on Akira.

We take a look back at the bodybuilding ‘competition’ from One Shot.

We get comments from Jacob Fatu.  He suggests that if Hammerstone wants to pop up, why not pop up at Holiday Rush to settle the trilogy.  He says he will dog walk Hammerstone all over New York.

Match Number Two:  Tiara James versus Delmi Exo versus Janai Kai (with Salina de la Renta) for the MLW Featherweight Championship)

Kai misses a kick on James and Exo.  Kai kicks Exo from the corner.  James with a rollup on Kai for a near fall.  Exo with a snap mare to James and a crucifix fort a near fall.  Kai with kicks to Exo and James.  Kai with a forearm to Exo and she misses a kick on James.  James with a shoulder in the corner.  Exo kicks James and she hits a Fisherman’s suplex on James for a near fall.  Kai with kicks to James and Exo.  Kai with a kick to James and a waist lock on Exo.  Exo with a forearm and Kai is given a double suplex.  Kai sends Exo into James and Kai with a half nelson slam for a near fall.  James with a kick to Kai and a swinging neck breaker for a near fall.

Kai with a round kick to James and everyone is down.  Kai chops Exo and punches James.  Exo with chops and then it is James’ turn.  Kai with chops and kicks to both women.  Kai with a back heel kick to Exo.  James blocks a kick and she gets Kai up and Exo with a Hart Attack but Exo breaks up the cover.  Exo goes for a Boston Crab and Salina sprays something in Exo’s eyes.  Kai with a spinning round kick for the three count.

Winner:  Janai Kai (retains championship)

After the match, the referee checks on Delmi Exo at ringside while she tries to get her vision back.

We are told that at Holiday Rush, the BOMAYE Fight Club will face the Second Gear Crew for the MLW Tag Titles.

We go to Manders and Good Brother Number Three and Good Brother says that he has been doing this for a long time and he has been holding it deep down and he brings up his rage.  He says he wishes Justice was here.  He says he feels good tearing things up on the road.  He gives Manders a gift and it is a hat for Christmas.  He asks if the Freebird Rule applies and Manders says that is still the case.  He says he will replace Mance on the paperwork. 

They take a photo for Justice.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three:  Tony Deppen (with TJ Crawford and Griffin McCoy) versus Nolo Kitano

Tony runs into a super kick but Tony with a jumping knee.  Nolo with a forearm and Tony with a forearm. Tony goes to the apron and Nolo trips Tony and hits a suicide dive.  Nolo sends Tony into the apron and ring post.  Nolo with a chop and they return to the ring.  Nolo with a jumping kne and a back breaker followed by a spinning heel kick for a near fall. 

Tony and Nolo with standing switches and Tony with a kick and he connects with a knee to Nolo into the turnbuckles followed by a sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Tony takes Nolo’s head band.  Tony misses a kick and Nolo with a kick.  Tony with a forearm and he goes for a suplex but Nolo lands on his feet.  Nolo with a Tiger Driver for a near fall.  Nolo pulls Tony back into the center of the ring and Tony grabs the referee’s leg.  Nolo slaps Tony and Tony with a forearm. They continue the exchange.  Tony with slaps and Nolo hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. 

Nolo with slaps and punches followed by a Pele Kick.  Nolo with a tornado DDT but Tony is pulled to the floor by Griffin and TJ.  Nolo with a suicide dive onto all three.  Tony grabs the referee and then the referee is pushed away by Nolo.  Tony with a kick to the groinal region followed by a Shining Wizard to the back of the head.

Winner:  Tony Deppen

After the match, Tony takes the mic.  He says he has all day so he doesn’t care.  He says he came back from suspension and he says he wishes he was suspended again so he wouldn’t have to deal with the biggest crybaby, Kevin Blackwood.  He leaves the west coast because nobody wants him so he comes back to Tony’s territory.

Kevin Blackwood comes out and he is held back by officials and sent to the back.

At Kings of Coliseum, we will see Love Doug versus Brett Ryan Gosselin in a Love is Blind Match.

We go to The Calling.  Rickey Shane Page says Akira has to atone for what he did.  He says the Road to Carcosa was supposed to be paved in gold.  You will pay for this.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Salina de la Renta and she is with Rocky Romero and Janai Kai.  Salina talks about coming back and taking over MLW.  She says it is so easy.  It is like everyone has been on vacation.

She sees a Duran minion mask and she wants to know who put this in her office.

Ichiban and his manager enter the office. 

Salina says that Ichiban is a deuce.   She says she knows what Ichiban wants but he is not good enough because he cannot win.  Salina says if Ichiban can beat her, then she can try to get a title match.

Match Number Four:  TJ Crawford (with Griffin McCoy and Tony Deppen) versus Kevin Blackwood

Kevin with a clothesline as the bell rings and he avoids a spin kick.  Kevin with a forearm and chop in the corner.  Kevin with a snap mare and kick to the back.  Kevin with a double stomp to the midsection.  Kevin sets for a suplex and Griffin reaches into the ring and grabs the leg.  TJ with a kick and Falcon Arrow for a near fall.  TJ kicks Kevin in the corner and chokes him.  TJN with a punch and hard Irish whip.  TJ with a chop and Kevin wants more so TJ chops him morte.  TJ with a double thrust to the throat.  Kevin with a bck heel kick but he runs into a boot.  TJ with an abdominal stretch and Griffin adds more pressure to the hold but the referee sees it.

The referee has ejected Griffin from ringside and threatens with suspension.  Kevin with a Yakuza kick and hits a second one followed by a double stomp for the three count

Winner:  Kevin Blackwood

Alex Hammerstone says one more time it is him and Jacob Fatu.  He says he had to deal with those idiots cheering for him at SuperFight.  I gave you the perfect person but you want to cheer for Jacob.  Alex says he has already won two times and he will complete the sweep at Holiday Bash.

We go to Alex Kane.  He asks Thomas what did MSL think he had and Thomas says a shot but then he says MSL had no shot.  Kane says that is not that easy.  At Holiday Rush, they are going to face the Second Gear Crew.  They have no beefs.  Thomas says he wants a tag team Christmas bonus and that hat from Manders.  Kane says that MSL can send everyone and they can get taken care of.  He says they will be fighting champions.  He says BOMAYE runs MLW.

Match Number Five:  Akira versus Rickey Shane Page for the MLW National Openweight Championship

Page with a kick and Akira with a thrust kick and take down.  Akira with punches and Page goes to the floor.  Akira kicks and punches Page followed by more kicks.  Akira with a back rake and he tries for a Saito suplex but Page blocks it.  Akira avoids a choke slam and hits a Saito suplex.  Akira kicks Page many times and connects with a knee to the midsection.  Page with a punch to the injured ribs and a release suplex. 

Page kicks Akira in the corner and chokes him in the ropes  Page with a forearm to the back and midsection.  Page with a kick to the head.  Page with a forearm and Akira tells Page to punch him and Page chops Akira.  Akira with punches and an enzuigiri.  Akira with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.  Akira with a running forearm into the corner for a near fall.  Akira grabs a weapon but Page escapes Death Penalty.  Page with a DDT for the three count.

Winner:  Rickey Shane Page (retains championship)

After the match, Cannonball and Talon hold Akira against the ropes and Page kicks him.  They duct tape Akira to the ropes and he punches Akira.  Cannonball and Talon get in a few shots.  Page opens the cut on Akira’s forehead. 

Page takes a mic and he welcomes Akira to the Court of Carcosa.  He says Akira is going to pay for his transgressions.  You are going to pay for turning your back on him and you are going to pay for turning your back on your Calling. 

Page kicks Akira and shaves Akira’s head.  Page puts the hair in Akira’s mouth.

We go to credits.
