The Rock is coming to UFC, at least on film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson has signed on to play former UFC Heavyweight Champion Mark Kerr in drama The Smashing Machine. Kerry was a subject of a documentary of the same title.
The drama will focus on Kerr’s "struggle with addiction, winning, love and friendship in the year 2000."
The film has been long gestating, with Johnson talking about playing Kerr as far back as 2019.
