Where did Shibata go on AEW and ROH?
The word making the rounds was he needed to return to Japan as part of the renewal of his work visa. We are told he's absolutely scheduled to return ASAP.
Why did we never get Steve Austin vs. Triple H at Wrestlemania?
It just never happened. If you look back, I could argue that the original plan for Wrestlemania 18 may have been a babyface Triple H vs. a heel Steve Austin, but after Austin's heel turn fizzled in 2001, it was likely dropped.
How can Impact Wrestling use the Santino Marella name?
WWE let the trademark lapse and Impact trademarked it. Very simple.

Does anyone know why Terry Funk was Chainsaw Charlie during that Attitude Era run? I've never seen it explained and I've wondered about it since he passed (RIP) earlier this year?
Blame Terry Funk for that one as it was his idea. Funk came up with the Charlie alter ego as his version of Cactus Jack as Mankind. It failed as an idea and over time, was quietly dropped. Funk also came up with a similar forgotten character "Dr. Knows It All." early in his career. Even the Funker could drop the ball at times but he was brave enough to try!
I was watching a Philly show in 1983 and it featured a young Curt Henning. I had no idea that he worked in the WWF before the Mr. Perfect gimmick. How long did he work in the WWF in his first run and was there any reason why he never stayed in the WWF and worked the AWA?
Curt Hennig, like a lot of workers as they broke in during that timeframe, was used as undercard talent in different territories, including the WWF to give them experience and ringwork. During that time period, workers would be sent from their home bases to get better outside of the knowledge and eyes of their hometown fans. They would work a number of different places, which also prevented the characters from being burned out. I believe in Hennig's case, he simply moved on to another territory when his WWF tenure was over.
