ACTION Wrestling “Bangers Only 4”

12/8/23 - Tyrone, GA

 

 Match 1: Diego Hill vs Landon Hale

Huge Welcome Back chant for Hale. This starts of real fast, both guys flipping and flying and countering back and forth. Definitely respect here but Hill wants to win. Hale intercepts a dive, quick rana and a high cross body for two. Hard chop damn near hurts the good doctor. Flatliner into the buckle, Hale eats a corner 619! Hale with a dodge and just flies over the top and drives Hill to the concrete….He tosses Diego back in but Hill bounces right through with a somersault back to the floor. Hale runs into a Spanish fly for two! Hale with a tilt a whirl backbreaker and a snake eyes! Hale goes for the SPO Driver but Hill slips it. Double handspring cutters! Trading hard chops, they’re both firing back up. Hill lands a roaring forearm! Hale with high knee! Hill hits a poisonrana! Headtrap superkick in the corner and Hale goes for the SPO Driver again. Hill ranas free! Hill with a springboard spinning back kick and a flipping senton from the top for the win! Hill spoiled Hale’s return but damn, what an opener!

Winner: Diego Hill

 Match 2: Rachel Armstrong vs Deity

Deity stepping in tonight to replace Devlyn Macabre and she has a tough task going against the Action Futures Winner, Rachel Armstrong. Deity does have a size advantage so. Maybe this evens the playing field some? Armstrong with a waist lock and Deity just tosses her off. This is the story going forward. Rachel is clearly more skilled but Deity is just mauling her when she isn’t just shaking off any form of offense. Big corner kick and she rakes the back. Armstrong makes space and Deity grabs her hair and his a just delay press slam. Armstrong doesn’t stay down and Deity is starting to get frustrated. Armstonrg starts to land some flying forearms and Deity is stunned. A Sliced Bread connects and Armstrong takes the W. Deity is booed as she stumbles out the front door of the arena. 

Winner: Rachel Armstrong

Match 3: Bojack vs Austin Luke

Luke is the current H20 champion and he’s going against a man that almost took the Action Championship previously. Luke using the ropes to keep Bojack off him. The crowd doesn’t like that at all. He lands a stiff kick to Bojack’s trunks and the big man is already very uncomfortable. He catches a third kick and blasts Luke to the floor with a discus forearm. Trading shots around the ring, Luke is really taking the worst of the thing. Luke back in and he manages to dropkick Bojack to his knee through the ropes. More kicks to the chest but Bojack with a snap slam and running senton out of the blue. Delay vertical suplex! Luke is taking these heavy shots but still kicking out. Bojack goes for a bomb but Luke snatches a head and arm triangle! Bojack escapes but eats a kick to the face for…..one. Another PK! Two count. Luke goes for a brain buster….no that isn’t happening. Bojack with a butterfly brain buster! Two! Luke with a series of running kicks and a corner dropkick! Bojack escapes a double stomp but eats a step up knee. Head kick for two! Bojack is sick of getting kicks and hits a sitout spine buster for the two. Luke dodges a powerbomb. Somersault to the floor! Bojack tossed back in. Luke to the top, Bojack rolls away but Austin Luke hits a splash from across the ring! Bojack turns him inside out with a lariat and hits a Bojack bomb for the win! This ruled. 

Winner: Bojack

 Scott Hensley introduces Carmen Michael who brings out Matt Sells, who has a special announcement. Sells parties his way through the Tyrone crowd. What is this announcement, asks Carmen. Sometimes announcements can be good. Sometimes bad. He says he might have something to say about his future in wrestling. Cue Suge D’s music, who has a bone to pick with Sells (amongst others). Tyrone? They hate Suge. But why is Suge here? Suge says an announcement should be actual news. Why don’t they talk about his championships? Or his spread in PWIllustrated? Carmen just wants to know what Sells has to say. Sells says he hates Suge and reveals he’s wearing a PINEAPPLE PETE shirt and that chant gets right up Suge’s skin. Suge says the Sells is just taking up space. He’s a broken man and will never be medically cleared to wrestle again. Suge hopes he gets a clue and an AA meeting. So that announcement? Back in April, Sells tore his triceps in a match against Suge D. His doctor said it was a career ending injury. But Sells has bad news…..for Suge. He’s cleared to wrestle….RIGHT NOW. Suge looks distraught as he turns and Sells pummels him. Thez press beatdown on the Pan African World Diaspora Champion. Kevin Ryan hits the ring to make the save. The Wall is here. Jaden Newman hits the ring to save Matt Sells?!?! Suge is laid out, Newman hands Sells a pair of scissors………..Sells goes to cut some of Suge’s dreadlocks off but the Wall manages to pull Suge to safety and the Good Hand escapes for now. But the real story is this weird new alliance between Sells and Newman? Even Scott Hensley is confused that we’re cheering Jaden Newman now?

 

 Match 4: Squatting Dragons (Erron Wade & Kody Manhorn) vs BK Westbrook & Ella Envy

Arik Royal wasn’t able to compete tonight so BK Westbrook found a partner in Envy tonight against the Dragons (who are 2-0 against Out of This World). Envy knows she’s not the ACEGAWD…but her loves for BK is out of this world. Haha. Envy hits HARD and cuts Manhorn down. Kody with some fast graps on BK, who blasts a backbreaker into a tag on Wade. Trading hard strikes! The baby dragon with a sweep, blinds tag to Kody! Seated blockbuster! Double kicks! Envy intercepts Kody on the outside but serves as a distraction for BK to blast the coach. Reverse AA for two! Double hip toss to Kody as BK and Envy try to give IWTV a PG-13 rating with their smooching. Kody held in place for a running knee for two on Manhorn. Finally we get the tag to Erron! BK eating punishment but Envy gets his hair from behind. BK with a corner dropkick. Envy with a northern lights! Kody makes the save. Flying headbutt to BK. Kody eats a black hole slam from Envy! Wade escapes a sliced bread and hits a tornado kick! Envy left alone with the dragons. A headbutt Total Elimination variant wipes her out and the Squatting Dragons take the three in a dominant pin! This was going to be good regardless but this was a hell of a debut for Ella Envy. Instantly Hateable.

Match 5: Billie Starkz vs Daniel Makabe

LET’S GOOOOOOOOO! It’s Billie’s birthday and she wanted a tall task against one of the most gifted wrestlers on the Indies, ahead of her main event against Athena for the ROH Women’s Championship. Makabe keeping it grounded and grappled focused early on, despite Billie trying to rile him up with some childish shenanigans. Billie gets a deep hammerlock on the mat and he has to get the rope. He grabs the knees of Starkz and drops her to the apron. DEEEEEEP leg lock on the floor as Makabe tries to leave her on the concrete for the count out. Billie makes the count….Makabe trying for a crab and just punching at the knee. Another deep leg lock but Billie gets the rope…..she is definitely getting slowed down here. Billie trying to make a few desperate upkicks. Makabe to his knees and stark throwing kicks but she’s hurting herself. Bill with a German and a bridge! Kick out! Makabe with a head kick and rollup for two. Makabe goes for the cattle mutiliation but Billie hits a suplex to the knee! Gory bomb! She goes up for the Swanton but Makabe repositions and snags a rear naked choke! He fails to get the body lock and transitions to the cattle mutilation! Starkz fighting and gets a foot to the rope! Makabe goes for the big unit punch, Billie blocks high and Makabe punches right into the knee and Starkz DROPS. The ref covers her up and checks on her. Makabe is none to happy with the crowd cheering on Billie. He tries a rana off the top but Big Bill shoves him and he lands on his head! This is what he gets for going outside his grounded playbook. Billie with a quick Swanton gets the three and Space Jesus heads to ROH a winner!

Match 6: TJ Crawford vs Rico Gonzalez

The Big Bread of Big Business stomps out Rico Gonzalez when he felt like Rico had gotten enough praise from the Tyrone crowd. TJ is making the most of his debut and just stays on Rico in the early minutes. Rico doing his damndest to try and reverse and counter but TJ has so many answers for all of this. Rico finally escapes a brain buster and blasts a huge lariat! Rico getting cute and slaps TJ right in the face. That was probably a bad idea as TJ lands a head kick. Rico with a dropkick reversal for two! Rico dropped out on electric chair and TJ blasts a forearm to the back of the head. Rico is rocked but he throws some heavy elbows. TJ right back in his face as they trade. TJ catches him with a huge vertical slam for two! Rico dropped with a kick. Crawford going for the kill….He tries to superplex Rico to the floor…Rico gets the arm. Eats buckle! Double stomp into the apron! Rico rolls TJ in for the win! Hell of a showing from TJ tonight but Rico wasn’t going to be denied here.

Winner: Rico Gonzalez

 

 Match 7: Channing Thomas vs Bobby Flaco

Channing is without Sidney Bakabella tonight but he enters the Action arena highly confident tonight. Bobby is like the mascot of the crowd and Channing has been riling them up from the march table alllllll night. This is Tyrone’s chance to get one back. Channing catching the high flying antics of Flaco  and reversing but he gets planted with a pair of ddd’s and Flaco flies to the floor to connect with World Class. Channing is on wobbly legs! Bobby with a cross body off the top, Channing rolls through and grabs the tights for the three! A WORLD CLASS VICTORY! The crowd haaaaaaates this. Everyone is mad at this obvious robbery. 

Winner: Channing Thomas 

 Scott Hensley is here to announce that at the next ACTION show, The Good Hand will be defending their tag team championships against Matt Sells & Jaden Newman. Oh my!

 Main Event: Adam Priest(c) vs Alex Kane (w/ The Good Hand) vs Krule (for the ACTION Championship)

This is going to be wild. The Good Hand goes to attack Krule before he hits the ring but the monster tears right through them. Kane helps his friends to the back and it looks like he’s running alone in this triple threat (as it should be…..for now). Krule is claiming to be the ONLY reigning and defending IWTV champion. Kane wants an alliance with Priest? No. The monster uses this to his advantage. Priest catches Krule on the rope and sends him to the floor and flies down at him. Priest has a chair and blasts the big man. Kane gets a chair and it looks like they have to work together as they pummel Krule with the metal. Kane with a sudden spear on the champ and they are all down on the floor. Kane sets up a chair and guts Priest. Huge backbreaker on the champ as Krule slowly recovers. Kane goes for an apron splash and he pulls Priest so Kane eats mat. This isn’t a save though as Krule takes his turn beating on his former friend. Chikeslam into the apron! Kane with a blindside on the monster! Apron splash to Priest! Kane battering Krules head with clubbing blows. Krule back up and chokeslams Priest into Kane’s back. Owwww. Krule is using Priest as a weapon on Kane before he uses Kane to spear Priest in half. Chokeslam to Kane…..kickout! Krule grabs some chairs and just effortlessly tosses a door into the ring. Priest tries to go under the ring but Krule smashes him with another door. Krule throws Priest into a door and HE BOUNCES OFF. EEEEEK!Kane goes after the monster but Krule shoves him through another door. Priest back up and he goes through the wood this time! The crowd going with the Krule chants! Priest starts blasting Krule over the head with a half of a door. Krule says hell no. Chairs are set up….Kane blocks the choke slam….They’re on the top…oh no…..Priest runs in and they tower of doom into the chairs! Priest making the crawl but Krule is still moving. Kane catches Priest with a huge release suplex. X Plex! Krule’s up but Kane is throwing germans like whoa! Ripcord saito! Kane is feeling it! ALEX KANE CHOKESLAMS KRULE!!!!! Krule pops right back up! He has a suplex for Kane! Priest off the top and lands on the monster but he might have wiped out his knee in the process! Priest and Kane try to keep the Monster down but they get double suplexed. Krule gets Kane up in an electric chair….Priest hits a Doomsday Device! Priest tries to reason with Krule but he eats a quick Scorched Earth! This could be it but Kane breaks the pin and tries to choke out Krule! Priest off the top and wipes them out before Krule goes to sleep. Priest and Kane slugging it out, refusing to let go of a wrist hold. Tornado Ddt to Kane! Tornado DDT on Krule on the apron! Alabama Jam leg drop to Kane. Priest catches Krule with his snap ddt as he comes back into the ring! He tries a second Alabama jam but Krule sits up….Priest kicks him low and hits another ddt. Kane breaks it up again! Kane going for a rear naked choke……Priest is struggling…and he almost goes out but Krule catches his arm and prevents the stoppage! Krule with a huge clothesline on Kane! Krule hits scorched earth on Priest again. KANE WITH A SPEEAR ON KRULE AND STEALS THE PIN ON ADAM PRIEST TO WIN THE ACTION CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

Winner: Alex Kane (NEW ACTION CHAMPION)

 

 

 

 The Good Hand hits the ring to congratulate their friend and teammate. What a ride and rise for The Suplex Assassin and what a great addition to the title history of the ACTION Championship. Suge has the mic. “I DON’T HEAR YOU. This man went from three minute opening matches to beating the two most unbeatable people here.” Suge very passionately talks about how Kane clawed his way up from the bottom and how the crowd BETTER give him the respect he has earned. As for what’s next? Now that they have all the gold in ACTION, maybe they set their sights on owning ACTION itself in 2024. Watch your back, Matt Griffin. Wow. We go off air as the crowd is booing the celebrating heels in and around the ring and right out the door. Bomaye!
