ROH Women's Champion Athena tweeted that she suffered a broken nose but would still be working next week's Ring of Honor Final Battle PPV.
Athena later deleted the Tweet, but PWInsider.com has confimed the injury is legitimate.
It appears to have been suffered this past week at the Collision/Ring of Honor taping in Montreal in a segment that will air on next week's ROH on WatchROH.com episode. During a brawl with Billie Starkz, it is believed Athena suffered the broken nose either being tossed into a guard rail or a ring post.
Athena's deleted tweet noted that she had just received X-Ray results confirming the broken nose.
